That’ll be for each individual guild to decide. My gut tells me the majority will end up staying on Wrath-TBC but I’d rater have the choice between 2 fun versions of the game than stick with one that even the people continuing to play it think is garbage
It looks like we all can agree on one thing Emerald Dream as we know it is gone all is left is fond memories we can all sit here all day and night pointing fingers at why it died but in reality that is just how life is- life changes we change the game changes.
We adapt.

STOP JOINING MASS GUILDS THAT RUN ON MULTIPLE SERVERS! Sure at first it’s exciting but eventually, you will just be a number to them. How can you build a community when you have a zillion members that come and go on an hourly basis?

Ah, fair enough. I suspect people/guilds will largely progress to the next Classic expansion. Diehards of one era will likely have to play on connected servers once the newest Classic expansion releases.
Yeah, I just feel an overhaul of how they do Realms is overdue.
When realms start getting full, they just add more realms… which is fine at the start of expansions/patches, but then it eventually dies down, and you’re just left on a dead realm.
Allowing people to have a first name and last name evidently is too hard of a solution that would allow them to merge those servers.

ESO gives you a hidden # like our bnet accounts, that ya give out if you want to add people etc.

If all the people that complain about Warmode simply turned on Warmode and went out in the world, Warmode wouldn’t be a barrier. The problem has to be something else, as I’ve alluded to.
Warmode is a great scapegoat for those Alliance leaders who want to retain GM positions and have something convenient to blame for why world pvp is allegedly dead.

I challenge any prominent Horde wpvp guild to faction change to Alliance.
Its been done before sure, but try it in WoWs current iteration of Shadowlands and let us know if war mode is not a factor.
Prove to those that complain, they are wrong. If it’s simply a matter of faction, show us.

Nah I’m pretty sure it’s because of wm. Can’t start beef if the other person is hiding with wm off thus can’t form rivalries as easily.

Dont need a horde guild to switch. Just need one person to step up and lead.
We got off track from Shadowlands awhile ago.
When your idea of starting beef is to kill low levels, not the person you have “beef” with, then run when your level range shows up, yeh. Or just hiding in your class hall. Or faction changing the moment you bite off more than you can chew…
The stuff you were doing was exactly why most people turn wm off, OR back in the day would have went to a PVE server. Also why this realm has a negative connotation with it, and no one new wants to come here.
Game needs more content and more incentive for wpvp. The 10%/25%~ simply isn’t enough. There should be really really good honor rewards, that would incentivize even new players to go out there and fight each other for gear. It’s not really hard to get honor anyway and I don’t see how that could ruin the game if it was a high risk of death vs high honor reward.
Too bad I’m not a dev. God what am I talking about.

Yeh the what like 50 honor pvp world quests? Not even worth going to.
And need something like CTA back.
Thats what kept it going, what there was, through BFA.
Edit: New shared Maw zone is great and Im hoping it encourages fights, but unless Blizz adds an incentive to pvp there, like what you mentioned Mort. CTA there, something. People are just going to turn WM off to do their dailies, because the entrance will be camped like the Maw was at the start of SL. And why deal with that, when ya dont have to?

I remember camping you multiple times and camping your fellow guildies multiple times. I never run from a fight unless I’m outnumbered with no chance of survival. Faction change stuff was a total different matter. Stay mad btw lmfao.

Classic feels like trying to run through the shallow end of the pool. Looking forward to murdering some hel boars and flying around at 160% speed because I’m too broke to buy epic flying. And ganking in Nagrand.
