Bro. I’ll take time-gated over infinite any day of the week. BC had plenty of time-gating. Time-gated dailies. Time-gated heroics. Rep-grinds. Flying was too expensive for most players. Balance was still in the process of being worked out. Catch-up gear making older dungeon blues obsolete.

By grinding in moderation and enjoying other games. Shadowlands isn’t out yet, and everything is prone to change even if said otherwise. Blizzard DOES like changing things at the last moment.

This might actually be the end of wow for me. They clearly are dead set on making this the new norm with every xpac and I really hate it.

It’s really hard to be excited for ‘Systemlands’ when the developers spend all of their time on time gated systems instead of on class redesigns, new races, new race and class combinations, and an exciting feature like an additional spec etc.
Imagine someone who has apparently never played the content trashing people who played it and had fun.
Warlords was way less than perfect. But since then, PvP has been utter garbage, no doubt thanks to you and other minions who parrot the message du jour you must get out. Gratz on your good work decimating PvP and turning it into a playground for raiders who wouldn’t be doing it at all except for the free stuff they are rewarded with for being obedient!

Least engaging and most time-gated content in the game is Black Prince rep. This character spent a year and a half parked in a tent on the Timeless Isle, coming out once a week to kill a celestial and go back in the tent to keep the DMF buff.

Maybe that’s what I want from a game that I intend to spend 2 years playing. If you don’t like it, youre welcome to find a game you do like instead.
