Which is why I said I would prefer they leave the mechanics in, but give us the standard amount of time to complete the tier.

There is no “standard” amount of time though. Where was everyone on the forums when CoS CE ended? People got used to these artificially inflated tier lengths and feel entitled to these kills now
It is well established that the final raid of each expansion is LONGER than the raids that came before it. Not shorter.
Who established that?
Blizzard, for well over a decade, now.

I’m curious what you’d think then if S4 was a new raid instead. Citing tradition isn’t a strong argument, if they make a different decision now you may just have to deal with it. Just because prior xpacs had longer final tiers doesn’t entitle you to have a long final tier this time
The only guilds that have gotten CE are 3-4 day raiding guilds.
Jailer is at minimum a 10 day pull boss @ 3 hours a night.
There’s no way they’ll massively nerf that fight to the point it takes half as many pulls.
They cut the tier too short. Literally extend it by a month and the amount of jailer kills will double.

Also guilds that started extending way back in April. Because they were expecting Blizzard to pull crap like this.
Guilds that approached this raid like a standard raid, and didn’t start extending super-early, are getting screwed.

So if blizzard decide push a exp like 1 per year or less, u cant argue with that and need pay 80 dollares more frequent right?, because u should “deal with it” and just pay, and cant blame them if you pay the month every month and the content isnt enough or is a rush because the standards for clear them are the 12 hours per day players, strong arguments!

While I rarely post on the forums, I feel like I needed to come in here and also post a reply voicing my displeasure with this announcement, as I don’t think Blizzard is aware of how much turbulence this has caused within their 2-3 night mythic raiding community.
Instead of being happy with this announcement which also signals the (hopefully) sooner than anticipated release of the new expansion, the first thing our guild did upon hearing of it was to sit down together and seriously discuss if it was even worth our time to continue playing / raid at all until the next expansion is released.
The majority of us aren’t interested in reclearing old raids for higher ilvl gear with no purpose / achievement to use them towards (although we pretty unanimously are in favour of the idea of purchasing a limited number of elusive raid items via tokens). With 4 weeks to go, we have 12 raid nights left to progress the rest of Lords, Ryg and Jailer. Unless the nerfs will be severe enough to trivialize the amount of muscle memory needed to handle the mechanics of the Jailer encounter, for a lot of guilds who have killed Anduin and are working on the last 3, it simply wont be worth their time to stick around.
This leaves us with 2 choices. We either stop playing until next expansion, or those of us who want to get CE will have to quit and find a new guild. It’s a lose - lose situation, caused by Blizzard’s decision.
As the power level gain in this raid when compared to the world first guilds doing the same bosses is so low (yes, I’m aware the encounters have been nerfed from what WF guilds did), I don’t see a reason why they couldn’t / shouldn’t extend CE into season 4.
In addition to some additional nerfs, allow the power gains from the higher ilvl items available to give the guilds still progging the fights the boost they need to clear. This would mean more people would stick around for the remainder of season 3, and actually give season 4 the testing opportunity that it deserves.
Please reconsider this decision.

Not true, look at When Dreams Become Memes. Look at Cute Anime Boys. Both 2 day guilds that have killed it on a 6hr schedule. Idk where you’re getting your numbers but it’s assuredly possible without 3 days and without OT.
So im rigth about the professionals are more than happy with the s3 rushed, they already are posting “get you CE before s4 starts!” all over they twitters/discord and pages, with a special offerts, and what they will do in s4 since isnt competitive?, sell more carrys with more special offferts, this dont feel right

They locked out 2-3 weeks before everyone else did. That’s not really a valid counter argument. Also, they’re the #1 world ranked 2-day raiding guild. That’s like trying to compare Echo against other guilds. The top 1%.
Either way there’s no real argument here or debate. They’ve decided to throw hundreds of guilds under the bus for some half-baked Season 4 nobody wants.

Also Fun with Friends, Decidedly Uncouth, Divergence, and plenty more. Like come on man, do you even look around before spouting nonsense that only hardcore, 6-day, 24 hour raiding guilds can kill it? Oh and only if they extended immediately after Pantheon too! Stop making up artificial barriers and just play better, stop getting knocked into holes
The only SL dungeons that will be in the M+ rotation in S4 are the Taz ones.
Also want to note that there are +20 Teleport achievements on the PTR for Grimrail, Iron Docks, Return to Kara and Mechagon. That’s going to be brutal to get within such a short period of time.
Elicit, indecent, Snowblind, just sit me are 4 more 2 day guilds that have killed it. There are still more, but it’s pointless to keep looking because if Two Day Raiding Guild hasn’t killed it, then surely the tier is too short!

Probably is better stop posting here and go do some m+, since u have the CE last week with still stuck in 3.3k io, and that dont depend if the others 19 players can raid more hours or more frecuent, depends on u pugging or playing better

yep. this is the position blizz has put countless 2-3 night mid-tier but CE capable mythic guilds in with this asinine decision.
