It’s shocking because the HoF for Alliance isn’t even filled. How dense can you get? You’re blaming the players? lol.

Do you guys do any research before spouting things? It’s at 100
LOL, dude everyone know the hall fills like 3 days ago, but normally the cross-realm pug raid is AFTER, alliance AND horde, complete the hall of fame, no before, only that think let u know how rushed this tier is, also last answer to you, arnt smart at all and try act like that, is not worth it
Your point? Blizz told everyone S4 was in the summer back when they dropped 9.2.5, and they released cross-realm with 9.2.5… so you knew the tier was going to end sooner. There’s no surprise here
I changed my mind. Let’s just leave CE and AotC active during all of season 4.
Cute Anime Boys raids 8 hours a week.

When Dreams Become Memes raided way more than two days a week when the expansion first dropped.

If you’re going to cite things, maybe make sure they’re accurate first.
I did look through wowprogress.com at guilds that have 1-2 days a raid listed as their raid weeks and only 3 have killed M Jailer as of 30ish hours ago, two are EU and one is OC, so there were 0 US 2-day 6-hour raiding guilds that had killed it as of then. Now, some maybe got it in the last two days, but 0 at that point, when this announcement was made.
Notice how there was only 90 names on there before? 6/30 was yesterday and 7/1 was today, so people citing that Alliance HOF wasn’t even finished yet ARE correct.
There was only 78 Alliance guilds who had killed M Jailer before the nerfs came out.
Dates are hard, I get it, but dig a bit before you slander people for being upset that they aren’t literally Hall of Fame and just want AOTC or CE before the season comes to a close. It’s ridiculous how much you’re attacking people just because you managed to get CE. Congrats. Considering your guild is 75th in the US and 281st in the WORLD that is pretty ridiculous to call people out when I was in a WORLD 1200 guild and got CE Sylvanas in January. Like… you’re basically calling people out for no reason.
“They told everyone S4 was in the summer” yeah, they said late summer, which most people consider late August/early September depending on what school situation your area rotates on. If you google “first day of Fall” it is September 22nd, so you can’t even say September isn’t part of the Summer. It absolutely is.
With Patch 9.2.5 releasing on May 31st (NA) / June 1st (EU), players are wondering about Shadowlands Season 4. Blizzard has announced the new season will start later this summer.
It never said “mid-summer” or a date. If we had a date back then I wouldn’t be so flippant about this. But they’ve always just danced around with vague “soonTM” posts and it is annoying the heck out of the community, as you can tell from the countless hundreds of guilds that have died just since this announcement was made, not to mention during this expac alone.
So we’re rushing to end this season early only to start another season to replay old raids… Why?
You guys can f— right off with this decision. First you release the hardest raid tier in the history of the game that takes professional guilds 3 weeks of degenerate 16 hour raid days to clear and then you cut it short by half the time? And for what? A non tier made of recycled content that will take away development time from a rushed expansion which will not be released this year.
Here’s what it’s gonna look like. This tier gets 4 months cut off it which becomes the recycled content tier, but then the new expansion gets delayed by 2 months like this one was so we’ll have a longer experimental tier than the actual raid tier. Meanwhile you’ve pissed off every mythic raid guild that could’ve got CE in that time. There will be about 400 guilds that make that achievement when there are typically 1500.
Nerfs that were announced today are too little and doesn’t help as much as they should. Bosses will still require hundreds of pulls even after those nerfs and with so little time left this is not acceptable.
So either apply even more nerfs than were announced today or extent season 3 by a month.
For example for Rygelon they should have nerfed Dark Eruption on all difficulties, not just heroic…
Couldn’t agree more with you another example of Blizzard making a very poor decision. Hopefully they will realize the error of their ways and make some kind of meaningful change in extending CE for those guilds on Jailer.
people who are defending this decision are either killed mythic jailer and wanted to be elite and entitled. literally 103 US guild killed mythic jailer. which is super low.
If the idea is to have patches release in shorter windows (4-5 month windows) The amount of content and the rate at which we can progress that content needs to be drastically changed. The fact of the matter is 90% of the player base dose not get to a higher item level bracket until we are past the first 2 months of a patch.
If seasons last less time raids need to be shorter, gear needs to be more plentiful, and content needs to be more thoroughly tested and balanced PRIOR to release. This would mean Blizzard would need to put ever more labor in to testing. Based on the inconsistent level of quality and balance we have seen over the course of BFA and SL (in comparison to where Blizzard says they want things) it would be hard to believe that the company would be willing to commit the kind of money and labor required to reach this level of quality.
Releasing smaller patches more frequently will not equate to better quality content. The each expansion still needs to go trough the same paces in terms of QA and balancing. IF there is half the content in half the time it is still the same amount of content but gives the team and players less breathing room to acclimate, improve, and learn.
I know this season is just an experiment but I still think it is important to air out and look at what needs to change in order to accommodate a shift in seasonal time frames.
Yes, we intend to close the current raiding tier for achievements such as Ahead of the Curve with the weekly reset the week of August 2.
Blockquote
so, does this mean all hopes of getting the AotC mount have been thrown out the window?
Well you got what you wanted lol so just kill it now, jailer has 0 meaningful mechanics left and is a 6 min fight
I was unable to raid for two months of this tier due to shoulder surgery. I have been back for about 4 weeks. I am still playing catch up at this point.
September is still summer.
August is also summer…
Again they can simply extend it by a single month have the season be at the same length as a normal season, and have 3 months of their experiment could even delay DF by a month to give a reasonable season 4 experiment too, the games been feeling so rushed as of late and feels like thats what the problem has been with it.
