Orc: Hrrr, you have guts walking to us, Human!
Blood Elf: Let’s kill this Alliance dog!
Human: Wait, why should we kill each other when we can pose and show how fabulous we look with the new customizations?
Blood Elf: Mmm… the girl brings up a good point.
Orc: Count me in! Count me in! Puts his rock aside Wait there, Rocky. Daddy has to pose for a picture!

I am still waiting to here the official date. Just hearing PVP season 4 will be ending soon is not concrete enough. :disappointed:

Can’t tell if serious or trolling…

Can we, at least, get some Dragonmaw skins?

Can’t say I’m excited when I got 0 of the things I wanted. But at least others are happy.

Latest ptr build messed up a lot of the new customization options.
Some faces that were fine were changed (to worse), some options are missing (like hair colors), etc.
I hope it’s just a bug, that they’ll fix.

Take a look at some of the posts on PTR session of the forums for more.

Mortis is back!?

lol, the guild discord be angsty from the wait

There are some changes to female troll I’m happy about but the thing I wanted most was upright undead, so kind of right there with you. Maybe one day.

I want free.

That is what I want. And that is what I am asking for!

incredible job! wodering if more options will be added through patches tbh. while some races are topnotch, there are some lackluster races like draenei.

Only specific Human faces get Battle Scars and male Blood Elves do not get jewelry.

I hope this gets fixed.

The new options are really good, but I feel that some details got overlooked a bit. I really wish some stuff gets addressed in the next content patch, such as:

  • Hairstyles clipping into the undressed model. Ox Horns for example, clip into the left shoulder.
  • Night Elves had fully blind option in alpha… It got removed in beta, why? Also why their one blind eye comes with imposed scar, when the very same scar is available within the scar option?
  • Any reason on why Draenei is the only old race reworked WITHOUT the option of eye color?
  • Why gnomes and goblins can’t have blind eye option?
  • Gnome females lost the “psycho” blue eye with tiny iris. It was quite a defining feature for that face model. Interesting note is that Orc females get this eye variation now.
  • Dwarves without a new beard model? You guys are insane!
  • Some races, like Draenei, don’t have their facial hair separated into different options.
  • I really hoped that this would bring the old Forsaken female skull face back.
  • Worgen barely got anything new for their wolf form other than eyes and fur color. With Vulpera being able to choose different snouts, I thought this would be a feature for Worgen too.
  • They were able to separate eyebrows on humans, why they can’t do the same for everyone? Eyebrows sort of play a big role in face definition, it would go a long way to have this.

And I’m not even speaking on more drastic things like posture, which I hope it’s on the plans for the future.

I love the fact that this has been expanded upon.

That said, the removal of features that use flat textures to blend or define them or their complete omission on new and repurposed styles is a huge miss for me.

A lot of the new additions look really chunky or weird without accompanying flat textures. For example, the Human’s “Cornrows” hairstyles clearly needs some sort of blending texture in between braids to achieve something more believable - there are zero roots on display.

Repurposed facial hair options lose all their blending textures. Several of the Human mustache options now jut out from the face, but because their old flat texture is missing, it doesn’t cover the upper lip… thus you have a gravity defying patch of facial hair. Completely removed are the flat, texture-based options. Beard options like “Short” and “Soul Patch” attempt to re-adapt them as 3D models, but look less groomed and clean… and selecting a different Face Shape will often clip right through the new facial hair options - a “Wide” Face Shape will protrude through the Soul Patch. The Round Face Shape will eat through the Eyebrows.

Lastly, the still lack of options like Stubble or closely groomed facial hair is also apparent. Orcs are given Stubble, and even Grime types… but none of the other races that could benefit from texture based options have anything, and as stated are losing a lot of the flat options and blends as well.

We need a character services sale for prepatch so we can race change a bunch of toons to try out all these new options! Only paying for one at full price just won’t be as fun as changing the 5-6 toons I want to.

Night Elf Males got a lot of options, true, sadly not much fit what I wanted, but certainly shiny options for druids, great stuff.

I wish the body model could have some rework, but I don’t think this will be happening either.

Overall all the changes are positive. Night Elf females have tons of great options as well, might change this character to a Female, wonder how Althron sounds for a female, nice enough I think, my Monk remains a male though.

I’m feeling that Orc’s look. But mostly I’m ready to make my undead show less bone.
