I’m looking forward to the new options for several characters.
My Human Female Paladin is probably going to swap to male now that I can at least have a Human male face that doesn’t look 40-50+ years old. I’d still kill for a body slider though just so they aren’t forced to look like roid-raging neanderthals. I do plan to use one of the new hairstyles too!
My Blood Elf female Warlock is going to use one of the new green eye options, the new top knot hairstyle, and one of the new dark skin tones. She’s going to look amazing! I just wish that Blood Elf females had gotten less jewelry and more of anything/everything else. I am especially disappointed that Blood Elves did not get the Darkfallen aesthetic options for launch. Hopefully it gets added during Shadowlands.
My Night Elf female Druid, will remain largely unchanged, though I may use the hair vines. The big thing for her will be the druid forms! Being able to have all my forms look the way I want regardless of spec is a dream come true!
My Void Elf male mage here will avail himself of the new High Elf Customization skin and eye options. I can only hope that some traditional hair colors, some new hairstyles, and a hair tentacle toggle are forthcoming when allied races get their customization pass!
My Blood Elf male Hunter will change his hair and facial hair to one of the new options and the new darker brown. Sadly Blood Elf males didn’t get very much and as I mentioned before I am really disappointed about no Darkfallen options for launch.

I plan on getting a little bit of a tan, giving myself a blind eye so I don’t have to be locked into this eyepatch, and maybe grow out some facial hair.

I know this has become an “inch:mile” issue within the community. But, might I suggest more Pandaren jewelry? I’m happy for the three new hairstyles and two new fur colors. Thank you. But, some more jewelry options with more muted colors and more black/white would be greatly appreciated.

Never be reluctant to ask for more customization options. More customization options means more diversity, and more diversity is better for the game IMO. I think it’s a good thing when the likelihood of bumping into a clone of your character is low.

Grateful that customization has finally gotten some attention and I hope it continues through shadowlands. Some races got more than others and that should be evened out. Trolls need beards. Tauren and trolls could use more face options. Last time I checked male blood elves don’t have nearly as many options as the females. Forsaken could use some designs carved into their skin like scarification tattoos just kinda without the healing. Like I said I’m grateful that customizations has finally gotten some attention and I hope it continues. Give trolls beards please and thank you

Probably. The next customization update will probably be just Allied Races, and then after that they might be done for the expansion.
At the very least, I don’t expect any more new customization options for core races any time soon.
Maybe these customization options will occupy me when they release a unfished xpac where classes and 90% of the new systems they made dont work. And make the game unplayable

the only new customization i see in that pic is a half orc half elf? o.0
I do believe they said they will be updating/adding more proactively. So after Allied Races I don’t think they’ll be done. But I also am skeptical because where are the rest of the heritage armors? I would have rather had all heritage armor than the random 2 boss raid everyone forgot about that had no impact.
Like I ‘unno, seems kinda’ underwhelming for every race that isn’t human. While the changes are minor but very impactful, it doesn’t feel like much of a significant change at all. 2-3 hairstyles that will now be overused or underused. Skin colors that should have been there in the first place or too neon to care. While some of the changes were welcome and sorely needed (like separating night elf markings from their hair color), there was what… 2-3 jewelry pieces with 2 different colors? That doesn’t seem like a variety. Just seems minor.
Now hopefully the stuff that was datamined but not implemented on the beta or ptr (like the blood elf body jewelry) is a hint that there is more to come. But I’m disenchanted at this point.

Probably more important to get those heirlooms returned now before all of these sex changes occur. Them blood stains are hard to get out.
