It could work like I said but whether they would let it or not is a whole different story and given the Asian market they might not do something like that because they would complain a lot due to being against stuff like that.

Super! Excited! About these changes. I’m going to make a dwarven warrior to experience all the changes and play, along with deciding my caster main.
I would have loved to see golden jewelry for night elves along with some more regal/stylish hairstyles to reflect Azshara.

It’s the original races that needs more customization still.
Pretty much every new and repurposed option is missing textures that were there before, or are blatantly absent. The male and female orc’s hair options that have cornrows do have a scalp texture, while both human options are completely lacking a texture… meaning it looks like rope was hot-glued to their head.
Eh, Nightborne males could use one good male face though.

Emm, no? Not all are hideous. The one I am using is good looking. Face nr. 2 is also quite decent.
Besides it’s good that there is some variety in faces.
When will Draenei get eye color options? Currently we’re the only “base” race that doesn’t have any eye color options.
(and Dark Irons, Lightforged, and Nightborne are the only Allied Races that don’t have eye color options)

Just a word of warning…
Earlier in this thread, the topic of Barbershop lighting came up and I mentioned that Cosmo Wrench has the best neutral lighting to ensure that what you see in the chair is the closest to what you’ll see out in the world.
I thought it might be helpful to let people know that even in character creation of all places, the lighting is also not neutral! There seems to be some sort of yellow-ish filter to the lighting in character creation which sometimes affects how the color of the various option look compared to actually in game.
Here’s an example of what I mean:
This same issue affects both Horde and Alliance character creation.
As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the barber at Cosmo Wrench has the most neutral lighting of all the barbers IMO. What your character looks like in the barber there is generally what your character will look like out in the world (obviously specific lighting in certain areas will affect how you look).
So take what you see at character creation with a grain of salt and head to Cosmo Wrench to get your customization selections just right! Other barbers with good lighting include: Area 52, Boralus, or Undercity in a pinch.
EDIT: It seems the lighting in character creation is at least close to the direct sunlight on your toon at noon in most areas, which I suppose should be considered the “neutral” baseline. But in game still seems different from character creation to me.

There is indeed, but it’s not in the main hub area. It’s actually just past the targeting dummies. Ask a guard to mark it on your map. Zuldazar has one too but the lighting is

I added that to my original warning post. Here’s a screenie of my character in the beta standing in daylight at noon:
My character uses the same skin color as the previous example image I posted, but I still recommend doing your customizations at one of the previously mentioned barbers with good lightning to get a more realistic idea of how your character will look in various levels of light and environments.
What you’re character looks like at character selection seems like a pretty neutral and accurate representation of color.
