I did read it. I’m just letting you know that your claims are blatantly false. Gear has pretty much no meaning in Torghast.
You can literally buy stats in Torghast. Like a 15% haste boost, or a 60% health boost.

Congrats on doubling down on your inability to read the op
Ultimately blizzards decisions for shadowlands are terrible. They need to give different types of people progression paths. Mythic raiding in its current form is an outdated type of content restricted for no reason and it’s not fun. However, I am forced to do it in order to fully enjoy pushing mythic+ which is now also ruined by an aoe cap for no reason.
The more I think and talk about shadowlands the more I already feel done with it
Why is that? You think that an activity like Torghast that can easily be cheesed and doesn’t require gear should reward gear? Do you see how stupid that is? The best rewards should come from the hardest content. Torghast, plane and simple, is not hard. It’s fun. Big difference.
So are you actually going to try and make a real point now?
So not only do you want the easy way to get gear, it also isnt allowed to take as much time as a few WorldQuests?
Yeah, you just confirmed that all you want is free handouts, which doesnt work within an MMO.
Oh yeah Ralph
Hey a Ralph post. Let the stupidity commence!
They need to give different types of people progression paths
No they don’t.
Mythic raiding in its current form is an outdated type of content
No it’s not.
restricted for no reason
It’s not restricted. You have the same opportunity as everyone else.
Do you think Ralph believes what he posts? Or is he the king of the forum trolls?
It’s restricted behind forcing you into 20 man. It’s restricted behind same realm. This makes it outdated and uninteresting. You can scream “muh mythic raiding!!!” from the top of the hills all you want, it won’t make it good or modern content.
I mean… with how gear is currently structured… everything gives a power boost to everything. At the very start of BfA raiders were non-stop PvPing as the PvP chest gave huge rewards relative to the effort required to achieve them. M+ was the de facto initial grind for any new character with spammable +10/15’s for heroic+ loot right when you dinged 120.
So long as the gear upgrades are the same between all forms of content… whichever content is easiest to gear up in will become the perceived forced content.
I find it a bit hilarious that people are getting this upset, when M+ has been DOMINANT in terms of gearing for the past two expacs. To the point that every PvP related gearing thread was actually complaining about M+ being required to PvP. Hell back in Antorus my 11/11H monk OUTGEARED my 11/11M druid.
The only edge that raiding gets in the end is the end-boss loot. But tbh… the amount of effort required to kill those bosses is monumental when compared to any level of effort required for M+.
it won’t make it good or modern content.
This is really the thing, “playing with a lot of people online at once in a big group” content is no longer special anymore. This isn’t 2004, people don’t have dial up and there’s hundreds of other games that let you EASILY and QUICKLY play with hundreds of players at a time.
Raids are an archaic, outdated form of content and need to stop being catered to and designed as the “End all be all” of WoW.
Hell, they even get extremely butthurt when you mention that mythic should be as puggable as heroic and the unique week mythic id feature should be removed so people can jump to as many mythic raid pugs as they want
Raids are an archaic, outdated form of content and need to stop being catered to
Yet people keep doing them. Weird.
If anything they should not cater to players like you
This would be a good post if it wasn’t completely made up with no bases in reality of how the gearing systems work.
If its so easy to make a group why are people saying it a problem.
Casual = doesn’t play a lot
Casual has many definitions Doesn’t play a lot might be one but in that case wouldn’t some high end raiders be considered casuals because they just raid log?
Casual can also be some one that doesn’t do high end content like mythic raids , mythic + keys on the high end or rated bgs/arenas but does spent quite a bit of time in game playing.
I feel bad for anyone who buys into these threads…
He’s a troll and purposely starts flame wars. Repeatedly. Honestly not sure why he hasn’t been banned at this point. He ignores anyone who actually defeats his logic, repeatedly posts disinformation, and castigates anyone who simply disagrees as having some form of inadequacy problem.
Yet people keep doing them. Weird.
Due to it being forced onto them for character progression, yes, that’s how “forcing” people to do things works.
If anything they should not cater to players like you
If you want to be below 500k subs AND piss off investors, sure.
