Dont follow sociopaths and you wont be disappointed when they’re rightfully killed off. Dont know what else to tell you.
People that I think may die:
Tyrande and/or Malfurion - if not die, maybe remain.
Genn’s time might be up, but the next expanion doesnt seem like it will be about him.
I think Sylvanas is either going to die as a bad, or die as a redeemed.
I think some core leaders may die, Baine is possible - with Mayla Highmountain becoming the leader of both tauren clans. Gallywix is a goner, if he isn’t already, Gazlowe is replacing him, so.
Thrall might be a goner.
Liadrin, too, maybe.
As for people I want safe: Allied Race leaders. We haven’t seen enough of them.
I don’t think Anduin is ready to die, I would like to see him grow into a leader.
Lor’themar, for similar reasons as the allied races, we haven’t seen enough of him and it would be nice to see how Thalyissra and Lor’themar’s relationship grows, it’s one of the few blatant, blooming ones in the game.
I do hope we lose a lot outside of these, get some fresh blood. Tyrande and Malfurion are a big one for me.
The level of bitter I’ll be if they spiked Thalyssra’s gay relationship with Sivara so they could give Lor’themar a girlfriend will be off the charts, I swear.
They already did it, so better get some sugar to sweeten that bitterness.
I will continue living in denial and believing they’re just good friends until Blizz finally adds the inevitably poorly written romance, thank you very much.
Not really sure who’s all going there so it’s hard to guess. But I kind of really hope Tyrande is on the list. Then let Shandris replace her as leader, she’s so much more likable.
And Sylvanas too. I know she’s popular or some such, but the banshee needs to go. Forever gone. And now that she’s played her hand let’s hope she finally doesn’t survive this round.
I still miss Garrosh, and being rather upset about a Lore character being killed off is perfectly fine show of emotions.
People can still function even when they are slightly upset.
Jeezus I hope note. While the Alliance maybe could afford to suffer a bit of pruining to their roster if needed, the Horde sure as hell cannot. For goodness sake, Blizz actually had to rely on Thrall and Rexxar rejoining the MU Orcs to pad out their laughing stock of a remaining roster. They had to force Voss into the leadership role of the Forsaken, without actually developing her to fill that role first. Rokhan is like the only Darkspear who could possibly fill the void left by Vol’jin; who’s own story is completely in the dark atm.
These three races can not afford to lose more characters, especially with Blizz’s absolutely atrocious track record of building up replacement Horde reps. The Bilgewater are also pretty limited on developed characters; as are the Tauren; and the ARs aren’t super well defined either. I think just about the only race that could afford to lose one would be the BEs … and with Liadrin and Lor’themar being their only real developed reps … I think the Red Team has lost enough.
until eitrig is not dead im not happy - blizz developers <.<
Jeezus, poor Eitrigg. Guy is never allowed a glory moment, yet always gets his teeth kicked in. Why is it that Cromush is one of the MU Orcs most developed characters? Why is this a situation we now find ourselves in Blizz? Can your current writing team ever build on the legacy and foundation left to them, or are they only capable of destroying for cheap thrills?
Ugh…

I think blizzard hates the horde lore but love horde gameplay ; at the same time love alliance lore but hate alliance gameplay.
Idk i have that feeling.
Would you have believed her?
“Yo alliance somethings up in the afterlife, please let me assist you in dying so you can see for yourself. Oh, no? How about you assist me in breaking the Lich King’s Helmet, letting loose the scourge but also revealing the Shadowlands? Oh btw your most fabled champions will be joining and the leftover noobs will protect t he world from the undead while the most powerful ppl are in the afterlife.” idk maybe you would prefer that but… hmm maybe Anduin would too……. idk if Tyrande or Greymane would offer to die first.
who said the jailer broke everything? if he was chained then he could not stop the shadowlands from being broken. Also if you caught the full Blizzcon panels, the dev stated " Oh ya the jailer may be the protagonist of the shadowlands by the looks of it so far but you never know, by the end of the xpac you may be helping each other restore the shadowlands"
yes it was and also game informer revealed that Cenarius is also in shadowlands from the media demo they played recently, which makes no sense because Cenarius didn’t die in emerald nightmare, when u mouse over him it doesn’t say corpse or dead didn’t it say unconscious??
Better not be that Tyrande dies and Slyvanas lives, on top of that somehow becomes a hero and returns to the Horde, because that will blow for sure.
Anduin can go, like come on you gonna sign a peace treaty and not bother hunting for Slyvanas? Get out with that. Aleast Genn has the right idea Watch, it will be Genn who dies. I actually don’t like Genn due to his actions in Legion, but now he agrees we should be hunting Slyvanas, I like him. Genn’s gonna die.
Could also be Velen, he had no part in BFA. Maybe Lor’ethmar too (Might be too cruel given Thalyrssa apparently likes him)
meanwhile in reality
Blizzard: Let’s have Anduin put Greymane in a straighjacket with a muzzle. Greymane being wheeled off to the pound to get euthanized , screaming muzzled “I shall have me veangeance windrunner, you killed my son”. Anduin then travels to Baine, “I hear you don’t want them vulpera, sign them over to the alliance. I could use a new snuggle-buddy at the feet of my bed.”
Genn I think is pretty much a goner…the worgen heritage armor questline sets Tess up to become his replacement as the next Queen of Gilneas (if they ever bother to actually GIVE Gilneas back in-game).
I wouldn’t go so far to say this. The heritage armor questline is about Tess learning that being the ruler of her people does not mean being a worgen. The people of Gilneas are defined by more than their curse, and Tess learns that relating to them does not require mutilating herself.
That being said, she probably won’t be turning into a worgen, at least not willingly, which means Genn’s death would leave the worgen race with virtually no representation. Who else do they have? Darius Crowley? I’d be okay if he stepped up to the plate, but he hasn’t been seen much lately.
yes it was
From what I read, we have no details on it. Just:
WE’RE GONNA LEARN MORE ABOUT TYRANDE’S STORY. OBVIOUSLY, SHE IS STILL VERY UPSET ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO HER PEOPLE. THAT’S GOING TO LEAD HER TO ARDENWEALD. SHE’S GONNA GET SOME ANSWERS TO SOME QUESTIONS, AND THERE’S GONNA BE SOME STUFF COMING WITH HER THAT’S TOO SPOILER-Y TO TALK ABOUT BUT THERE’S MORE TYRANDE…. ALL I CAN SAY IS SHE HAS A PRETTY BIG STORY MOMENT IN ARDENWEALD. VERY BIG ROLE ALSO.
Sorry about the all caps. Copy and paste from Blizzard Watch.
That’s pretty vague. It doesn’t say she’s going there to find out about Elune specifically. It says she’s upset about what happened to her people. And that leads her to Ardenweald.
That could mean a myriad of different things. Especially since the last time we heard from her, she was gathering her people at Hyjal and wanted to go take out Sylvanas.
which makes no sense because Cenarius didn’t die
He’s a demigod. And was already once in Ardenweald after “death.” I don’t believe, as a demigod, he has to be dead to travel to the mirror of the Dream.
It is an enchanted, mystical forest, and a dark mirror of the Emerald Dream. Whereas the Dream represents the spring and summer of the cycle of life, Ardenweald reflects autumn and winter. It is a place of rest and hibernation where spirits of nature are tended to by the night fae, who retrieve anima from mortal souls and infuse it into slumbering spirits, rejuvenating their lives with the remnants of the old to prepare them to be reborn into the world of the living. The demigod Cenarius spent time recovering here after his death during the Third War before returning to Azeroth during the events of the Cataclysm.
I do not think anyone is allowed to post the footage but it was also talked about at blizzcon, from the devs walking around, they were mostly answering to media, it should be out in the December game informer magazine shortly, they are releasing them 1 at a time, the previous was taking about bolvar being in the first raid with us helping us fight the vampire raid in vanthyr
I know this answer. You ready… Bolvar… he will have to take the jailers position.
