That could makes sense, why else would he be journeying with us and helping us fight raid bosses, instead of catching up with his daughter.
But Elune is there still.
Based on the Worgen Heritage Quest line I am putting my money on Genn not surviving Shadowlands.
My wish is that Anduin would die because I’m tired of his dumbass being the leader of the Alliance. The only two characters who need to die and go away for good in WoW are Anduin and Sylvanas.
i think greyman might kick the bucket.
When that happens the young wolf anduin will become a slightly less care bear…
Maybe even marry tess… sorry i know many want him to go with lil deathwing but lets be fair. Tess is the besst
I would rather have my left nut caught in a car door than see Tess Greymane marry Anduin. Blizzard might as well delete Worgen from the game if they plan to kill of Genn Greymane and have Tess marry Anduin thus making Anduin the King of Gilneas.
That is just… no.
isnt he like… king of alll alliance territories?
I mean, greymane is on a death sentence because of his neeeed to avenge his sons death.
No Anduin is the King of Stormind, as High King he is like the Supreme Commander of the Alliance military and makes final decisions in that regard. He is not the ruler of Gilneas, that still falls to Genn, and Tess if Genn dies. However, if Anduin marries Tess then he becomes the ruler of Gilneas and the Gilneans just get sucked into basically just being Stormwind Humans.
That’s crap. Like I said, if Blizzard does this they might as well delete Worgen from the game because it would be a huge spit in our face.
honest though i think tess would wear the pants in the relationship. She wouldnt just be the passive royal wife.
Did she embrace the worgen curse btw? I know you guys got the heritage armor.
Did her backstory get fleshed out a lil more?
This is Blizzard we are talking about who has written Anduin as basically being Jesus, he can do no wrong and is holier than thou… They would make Tess into his passive royal wife.
And no she did NOT embrace the curse… it’s one of the reasons I am so pissed right now, and why them having Tess marry Anduin would only further drive home the point that Blizzard doesn’t care about Gilneans/Worgen.
Basically, Tess wants to become a Worgen to relate to her people, Genn says no, Tess embarks on a journey to learn what it means to be a Worgen, we go into the Emerald Dream where Tess is dreaming and is a Worgen, we go through Gilneas and kill Nathanos and see Sylvanas kill Liam, Tess losses control and you have to fight her rage spirit, once you defeat it Tess understands that the Worgen are a curse that doesn’t define her people but that they have overcome it.
That’s where it ends. It’s pretty much a slap in the face to Worgen players, and so having Tess marry Anduin would just be insult to injury.
that does sound pretty cheap… id hope that she would have became a full fledge worgen.
Maybe calia menathil instead? ^u^
Same. I love Tess, she is so cool and I would have loved for her to become a Worgen.
Take that back! He is not king of Ashenvale!
Hope not. Would really be annoying having to put up with a whiny depressed Malfurion for two years lol.
give him a emo half shaved’ half long floppy mohawk hair and some goth make-up and emo/goth dyed druid form fur. Then have him be the one who is first to go animalistic on any horde anytime there is the slightest form of aggression between horde/alliance. Then all of a sudden Elune comes to Azeroth and becomes his new wife, then the fire nation blood elves come and kill a fish, then Elune goes back to moon duties.
Gilneas getting reclaimed seems highly unlikely at this point. The new “banner of Gilneas” uses the Stormwind lion crest instead of the Gilnean symbol and one of the voiced lines for Mia Greymane is a reference to Thor: Ragnarok.
The entirety of the quest chain revolve around Tess deciding that the worgen curse isn’t part of Gilnean identity, and that reclaiming Gilneas doesn’t matter. This includes changing the current Gilnean flag to be blue with the Stormwind lion instead of dark blue/black with the actual Gilnean crest.
Celestine of the Harvest would be a better queen than Tess.
Bwonsamdi has been nothing but helpful. Sure he wants something out of it, but he’s kept his side of any deals made.
He’s one of the primary loa worshiped by the Darkspear (arguably the most “honorable” and “good” troll tribe there is) and he helped them to take back the Echo Isles.
He helps out the Horde PC quite a bit in Nazmir and helps during both the Blood Troll and Alliance invasion of Dazar’alor.
Despite his seemingly carefree attitude he takes his job as Loa of Death seriously. He’s protective of the souls that willing cross to the other side and watchful of the ones sent there unwillingly. He assists us in trying to investigate what happened to Vol’jin’s soul. He is mindful of the balance between life and death. He also recognized the threat Sylvanas posed/poses, warning us that she tips the scales “too far” and even tries to get Talanji to kill her.
And as far as the whole Rastakhan fight, Bwonsamdi was keeping his deal. Rastakhan kept asking for more power and Bwonsamdi continued to give him more. However that power began to be more than he could control and he succumbed to it.
I’m not claiming he’s some pillar of righteousness but it would be extremely disappointing and, IMO, a waste of a fantastic character if he were to be made into a villain and killed or replaced.
This is just speculation, but technically Bwonsamdi could be saving souls from ending up in the maw by having the souls sent to him through pacts and deals.
If Vol’jin were to “replace” any Loa I think he’d become a new Loa of Kings. So I guess I could see him convincing or forcing Bwonsamdi to release Talanji from their deal and him becoming her Patron Loa, but not replacing him altogether.
I remember back before Legion, thinking that they need to kill off some major characters to inject some excitement into the lore for once.
Now I’m at the point where they need to settle down with killing people off. Blizzard tends to over-correct, and now they seem to just be killing off characters for the sake of it. I’d like to see some of these characters get some time to breathe and develop now.
Sylvanas will probably not die because plot armour and fanbois.
Same coulda been said for garrosh, voljin, cairne, and varian though.
Plot armor eventually wears thin.
