AKA WoD end game. It was a tough time for the intergalactic alliance.
Big numbers? I havent seen any source revealing sub numbers? Do you have some source i dont know about
?
Last time I checked I can eat fine dining solo.
But you have more fun with a party and most tables seat more than one
you do realize if boosting is so popular its because the PvP gear system is actually way too good right? why would you pay boosts if it was trash in the first place. Blizz dropped the ball in balancing the PvE routes and thats why everyone wants a carry because even with VP PvP gear is still unmatched, specially this late since you dont even need to wait for conq cap anymore.
And theres also 0 reasons to risk RMT when blizz completely allows gold boosting in its ToS lmao.
Im acctualy curious how exactly Solo Q would exacerbate anything?
It doesnât & it wouldnât. People just donât like solo players because of the âyou donât play the game the way I play itâ reason.
I thought about this a lot lately.
Great post. It feels like too much momentum to reverse what is wrong with systemlands. The second patch usually is the best indicator.
But like BFAâs second patch it may be too late to turn it around!

Yep. If I wanted to play âDance Dance Feverâ my console is waiting for me. The mechanics and affixes are getting really immersion breakingâŠall these pools of slime, swirlies, and laser lines (especially when they are the same color as the floor).
Doubt it but if it does it will be the end of WoW. All expacs that came after WoTLK were not good. Maybe MoP wasnât that bad but the others were.
Classic is just to dull and easy to play. No challenge aside from the time sink. Anyone and everyone is capable of doing everything in the game and the structure is not really set any differently then retail if you think about. Both games take a time sink and skill to play. Retail is more focused on player skill for endgame and high rewards. Classic is more focused on time sink for endgame and high rewards.
Classic, TBC and WoTLK were fantastic games at the time. But by modern day standards they arenât good games. If there wasnât a nostalgia factor bringing players back, they would have no chance in the modern video game market.
BC is gong to be a monster.
I love WotLK but if there is one expansion which is a monster that could go 12 rounds with WotLK it is BC.
It isnât the content that BC provides that drives players to BC. The atmosphere of BC is going to sneak up on a lot of people that never played BC You will see.

I donât see any reason why itâd be different to how classic works.
Itâll just be played like retail, only in an easier game. Short of lobotomizing players, you canât actually reverse the decade plus worth of knowledge that many players have accumulated over the games life.
People will solve BC and crash through itâs raids in hours, not weeks and then the only measurement of progress past that will be shaving minutes or seconds off your speedrun.
BC is a total MMORPG experience and back then it wasnât the content that drove players to play BC. What drove players to play in BC was with their friends, family, etc.
As an expansion BC has very sparse content but it is rich in other ways which systemlands, BFA and legion canât compete with.

You must be out of your mind. Blizzard caused many of the issues that classic had by not creating enough servers and trying to help balance some of the servers (pvp) that ended up being one faction servers. I know people who quit out of frustration from that.
But outside of that, Classic is doing well and will do better than what many people think it will. Some people just cannot seem to understand that many of us do not like what retail it. Whatever you would call it. It is not an mmo at this point though.
Thatâs what people said about classic too.
There will be plenty of people who prefer it to retail for whatever reason, just like how thereâs tons of people who prefer Classic Vanilla over retail.
But you canât recreate mid/late 2000âs WoW and TBC Classic (and Wrath Classic, once it gets released) will be played like Vanilla Classic is, as a modern experience on an older game.
Sure, I donât know why anyone would want to go and play an inferior version of it instead, but if thatâs what your time is worth to you then knock yourself out.
At least admit to yourself that Classic participation took an immediate nosedive once the nostalgia surge wore off, though.
Classic was a huge success.
I am predicting BC will be much bigger. BC I think is going to easily double classic success. BC may even dwarf retail much sooner than anyone wants to admit.

BC is a monster.
People talking about WotLk but forget the groundwork for WotLK was laid down with BC. Back then expansion used to add to the base core game.

I wouldnt know, I play on a server that nearly lags out every night to this day waiting for the same buff thats been going off for over a year and it is labeled as a medium server.
