Shadowlands book coming july 14

People read wow books because they are a captive audience, not because of the books literary merit.

This right here is the true. Also why are so defensive out of sudden?

Your the one saying people didnt like or buy bts, I am just saying its false

which doesnt matter when it comes to bestseller lists, its in the name
and if you want to talk about rating BTS has good ratings too.

Oh god, Zekhan is the Horde PC isn’t he?

To quote myself

You can read that especifically part as that I want to see this book do well and in the face of Golden and yes I get it, BTS sold a bit more than what I recall since it was a novety with the direction of Sylvanas and the horde which gave a boost but in general the book wasn’t that well received compared to her earlies works.

What made you think Lor’themar? I can’t imagine he’ll get a novel focusing on him until he becomes the next evil Horde leader.

I unfortunately have nothing to be actually interested for in this book. Alleria and Turalyon trying to figure out what Sylvanas is up to has as little intrigue as its one sentence synopsis when we’ve already seen the Shadowlands cinematic. And Sira still working for Sylvanas is as massive a detraction as it us unnecessary.

I’m not remotely interested either. I was sick of Horde internal conflict 9 years ago. I don’t care if it’s Horde vs former Horde, True Horde vs Fake Horde, X Horde vs Y Horde, whatever. Even if they’re ex-Horde and only Horde affiliated, more Zandalari infighting and Nathanos versus Bwonsamdi sounds about as appealing as cooked garbage to me.

Also more not not not not not mind controlled undead Sira:

Oh good another book about the Horde “rediscovering” its honor and anduin “being tested.”

ffs.

I do find it funny to see the rage against Christie Golden again as if people are completely braindead and unaware that she just write what Blizzard tells them. But as usual dumbasses freak out over the female author.

Hmmmm I wonder why she gets the most hatred and the others don’t. Not even people like Danuser who are actually writing the story.

Hmmmm

Not sure if I should be angry or impressed that they managed to completely leave Genn and Tyrande out of this

maybe both

I’m looking on the bright side, it’s not about Anduin. Hopefully the crushing weight of leadership is literal and something falls on him.

Except the new author is also a woman, and people are happy about her.

You mean like that massive post of people accusing him of self-inserting into the game?

well atleast Anduin is mentioned unlike tyrande, genn and others that need attention.

Maybe they forgot that those characters exist?

He’s gotta hate seeing his self insert being villain batted and, likely, killed. At least he’ll always have his Sylvanas body pillow.

There’s worse things than not being in the spotlight. Like being in the book for 5 seconds and having Blizzard consider that adequate representation for the next year of content.

it solds the most and it was the best received, sorry hon but war crimes, was goldens worse received book.

Yeah man, it’s not like people have been calling Nathanos Danuser’s self insert based on like three tweets for the last year or anything.

And Metzen didn’t get absolute tons of hate over the “obvious Horde bias because Thrall is his self insert”

When the plebs learn your name and see it enough times to remember you’re tied to the story, you’re the one they shake their fist at when they’re angry at Blizzard. No need to add any “hidden subtext hhhhmmmm” nonsense.

This is actually obscenely good, presuming the book is not lying – which we can’t really make that presumption ever again after BTS.

IF the book isn’t lying, it means that Blizzard doesn’t intend to kill Bwonsamdi or turn him evil. He’s firmly rooted a Horde god we actually get to keep. We know he survives this book, after all.

It’s nice seeing Zekhan be a main story character. I didn’t really like Talanji at all though. The Zandalari need the Horde, not the other way around. She told Sylvanas that before they officially joined. Why is she acting like Zandalar can stand alone?

I’m cautiously optimistic about this, more so about getting some more troll lore, than anything else.

Nowhere near the amount of Golden, but good try.

The absolute circle jerk of insanity against her since Legion began has been absolutely off the chart.

So, please spare me.

I refered to her first book with Arthas and her working books with Metzen, where did you get that Warcrimes is among her earlies work in this IP?

Disagree, this is how it should be. The races should act by their own interests rather than follow blindling the wishes of people that barely interact or even know of their culture
