If there were any Night Elves in the book they would be mentioned in the summary, especially Tyrande. maybe if we wait 4 or 6 more years something will come
Atleast we already know that they won’t be in the book so I wont read or buy it…

That would be the dumbest thing ever.
well we are talking about blizzard here and they retconned sylvanas story for the past 10 years
Trust me I have no faith. I usually start with “What is the dumbest thing Blizzard could do with the Lore?” and work backwards from there when preparing for each expansion.
Well they did want to replace Rezan with Bwonsamdi.
Blizzard is generally bad at female characters there was one that was written ok and that was that drustvar woman (the non combatant)
Bwonsamdi is 100x cooler than Rezan. Y’all ever seen the movie “Sugar Hill”? It’s about a woman whose husband is killed by white pimps, so she makes a pact with the Baron Samedi of Voodoo religions (whom Bwonsamdi I am sure is based on) to help her get revenge by using his zombie servants. It’s great.
I think Rezan is hella cool. Bwonsamdi is objectively cooler as like… a personality, I completely agree. But where Bwonsamdi is a force of nature, he doesn’t feel like one. Rezan does, imo.
This is what made me roll a Zandalari paladin, right here. I’ll always love Bwonsamdi, but this is cool.
A story with Sylvanas as a major character and will actually build up to an expansion? Sign me up. But then I have been fooled before (Before the Storm).
A story of the Horde “rediscovering” itself is eye rolling at this point, couldn’t care any less about Anduin and what the draenei-weaboo are up to. And we all know everything will work out for the Horde because Metzen’s OC is involved.
Sira Moonwarden helping Nathanos actually excites me and happy she isn’t forgotten. Sucks their trying to kill Bwonsamdi, but hey I like Nathanos , Sira and Sylvanas more. All this just makes me envy Sira and Nathanos and wish I can be on their side, but nope I’m stuck with the red Alliance.
I guess Sylvanas has so few supporters that they had to keep knockoff Cordana around.
Technically I think it’s more about her henchmen than her, and will most likely revolve around the factions.
Thought they were the better ones
They’re the senior writers. They have been the ones giving us these story plots/lore(over arching plots), they choose where they allow Golden and ect to take the story where it goes, they’re the ones that drop plot points each xpac. The only thing they have given that hasnt been garbage, imo, is class halls. They helped give us Reaper of Souls story(lol) and Legacy of the Void story(great game horrible story) as well.
The night elves WORSHIP Goldrinn but thought his power was uncontrollable hence why they did not want to use the worgen curse. It had nothing to do with hating Goldrinn.
Malfurion banned his worship, dude.
Meanwhile, orcs and tauren worshiped him. Orcs had been protected by him before even leaving Draenor.
Ralaar Fangfire tried merging Goldrinn’s essence with that of Elune by affixing one of Goldrinn’s fangs onto a staff that the moon goddess had blessed, creating the Scythe of Elune. This backfired horribly, as Goldrinn rejected the moon goddess.
I’m sure night elves are fine with a god who rejected elune.
Malfurion banned the USE of the aspect of the wolf, not the worship of Goldrinn himself! There is a big difference!
Malfurion banned his worship.
Goldrinn rejected the core god of the entire night elven pantheon, upon which all night elven culture revolves.
Orcs were chosen by Logosh without them even knowing it.
Tauren have been faithful apostles of Logosh’s for probably as long as they’ve existed – and they predate night elves.
This Horde god was taken and given to Varian, the Gilneans, and the night elves. The latter of which bewilders me, because he specifically spurned Elune.
" During the War Against the Nightmare, when the dreamform army entered the Emerald Nightmare, Malfurion Stormrage thought he saw Varian’s countenance change into that of a wolf, and Goldrinn’s name immediately came to his memory. The archdruid wished the wolf Ancient would watch over the army and concluded that what he had seen was likely his imagination"
Goldrinn is an ancient of theirs, regardless of his relation to Elune. Goldrinn is similarly worshipped because he helped the night elves against the Legion during WoTA, his actions were legendary.
I would say Bwonsamdi gets captured at worse. It was clear with Bwonsamdi offering to let Talanji go in exchange for Sylvanas’ head that he was at least aware of what the banshee was up to. He likely was attempting to divert some of those souls to his realm (or place of power) knowing a confrontation was inevitable.
I would think that Nathanos and Sira being sent after Bwonsamdi to be good news. It adds new spins on what De Other Side 5-man could be about other than Bwonsamdi being in league with Sylvanas and being reduced to a dungeon boss like Anub’arak was originally.
