That’s how ffxiv works and it’s probably a better solution.
Good god people find anything to whine about these days.
AoE’ing old trash mobs? Really?
Or they can just quit which blizz doesn’t actually want despite what some people here do.
Isn’t Fury already unfortunately capped? Or just Arms? Or did they fix it.
This is literally how AoE worked in WoW for ~13 years.
It was only in Legion when they broke all the classes that they removed that mechanic from the game and this we have had world of meleecraft ever since.
Really don’t know why they don’t just return back to this model, but perhaps it has something to do with still limiting burst AoE, as even diminished if you could do the damage over 2s whilst someone did it over 8s the burst would still be more preferable.
As per my reply to Kaurmine, this actually was the case in WoW for the majority of its years. Dunno why they broke it in Legion
Blizzard is making/sticking with some ridiculous decisions. Definitely waiting to get SL.
Blizzard is very hostile to players that don’t play with their narrow way of playing.
If you want to farm mats, or transmog in old content in shadowlands? They are telling you to take a hike.
Why does it matter how people spend their time playing the game if they are having fun?
Game design by spreadsheet.
It kills fun.
Really don’t understand why they can’t even just fix it to work in legacy content
If they are sticking to their guns that is.
This is the real problem. They design everything around a “calculated grind”.
An extra GCD is ‘calculated grinding’?
That’s how Blizzard used to deal with some AOE abilities.
Or pvp vendors.
Oh my god. Molten Front will be a nightmare
Sadly you’re going to be waiting for a very long time.
Makes sense. 100% damage to primary target and it radiates out with less % to mobs engaged.
Did you even read the comment I quoted and my comment?
It would be depressingly funny as a rogue to use my fan of knives, and some how, one of the mobs never gets poison procs.
OK I can see why this is issue but this is not game breaking at all. These little bugs are not going to kill you. You still have aoe that doesn’t have a cap you can use to kill them all in one shot. This is very misleading example of an non issue.
Oh it most definitely is.
Except bears.
Imagine being the worst tank then getting nerfed and aoe capped. Dev’s showing off their big IO there…
