Setting a bad precedent

Considering how easy raid bosses are compared to Pservers i think you could just stack tanks and abuse cons. I’m also at 6/8 and 2/2 and we could split our raids further to farm for gear quicker since Molten Core is more like Molten Snore.

Possibly but I don’t think even blizzlike horsemen will be that easy. No amount of skill can get you past lockout timers, and I don’t think you’d be farming naxx with mc or bwl gear.

Could be wrong though, but it’s pretty speculative.

No amount of skill can speed up lockout timers.

Are you trying to convince Blizzard to listen to you by assuming their motives? What if you’re wrong? (most definitely) You’re just going to go on their ignore list.

They said months ago that they’d be looking at where the community stands before releasing more content. They have the internal numbers, and it’s also not difficult to see that the playerbase has blasted the current content to smithereens.

I think you missed the purpose of the post there princess.

Faction queues.

Normally I would agree with you, but implementing honor with no bgs was foolish to begin with, add to that the massive Populations per realm and its been crazy!

This is much needed and will help dissipate a lot of raid ganking flight points!

Too bad blizzard won’t try to fix the balance. Instead they release bgs early. Faction Imbalance on PVP servers - Solutions

PvPers pre-P2: I love world PvP! I love the danger of being ganked anywhere in the open world, while doing the PvE content! Anyone who isn’t on a PvP server is a carebear that isn’t playing the ‘real’ game.

PvPers post-P2: HALP! I CAN’T DO MY PvE CONTENT BECUZ PvP IS HAPPENING ON A PvP SERVER! BLIZZ FIX! HALP!

Normal players: “You think you do, but you don’t.”

IT’s very simple.

  1. 8.3 is being released in January for retail.

Now you might be asking why that matters, but it does. Blizzard is not going to release BWL alongside 8.3. This means the earliest we can see BWL is february.
It is a terrible business move for them to not release BG’s in DEC. That way people have something to do over the hollidays, and until BWL is released.

  1. World PVP is a novelty event. Most people do not care about it, and the only real fun part about it is the first week or two.

You might not know this but only a tiny fraction of people who play the game play world pvp, even the players on pvp servers. It doesn’t make sense to focus on this group of players when it would alienate the rest of the player base.

Seeing that Classic is a rehash of a 15 year old game, and it’s being released in 6 phases to begin with, I’m nothing but grateful. They could release a new phase every other week, for all I care.

In the end, people will be farming raids and running battle grounds because that’s pretty much what the game was.

The release of Dire Maul really did not impact the game. Sure, there are some nice blues in there… The only difference I’ve noticed is that there are more quests and a few more dungeon options for the endgame.

So, when ZG comes out, folks will have access “catch up gear.” So what? For those who’re leveling slower, that’ll be welcome. It’s a lot easier to put small raids together. Hell, many guilds will appreciate that, as our numbers will surely dry up.

Play the game. Have fun. Enjoy the experience. I sure am!

I disagree. This isn’t a government with a 200 year history. It’s a entertainment company. Phase 2 was causing people to quit. That’s not in the companies interest. The player base of classic is a mix of ageing wow players mixed with younger players who might have been born when vanilla was created. Blizzard has to appease the base. I’d even say waiting til Dec 10 is a risk myself.

Just give us pvp to pve transfers for one week. That’s all it would take to stop 90% of the complaints.

Rushing content isn’t going to fix it.

Blizzard has more data than you and this forum. Blizzard is not making their decisions solely on forum complaints.

They hear the complaints, review the data they have, and come to a conclusion.

Their data clearly shows things that led them to push bgs out sooner. I don’t know what they are but I could guess:

  1. Heavily population drop after PvP week 1 due to seeing no fun capital city PvP (dhk issue) and only SS/TM.
  2. Most players who did spend a lot of their time pvping saw only a small increase in rank and that desensitized them.
  3. They saw huge amount of griefing and camping in raid zones (BRM).

Blizzard plays the game too, they know how unfun it is to do TM/SS and know that meta is bad for the game if left unchecked for months. Also bad for the game if corpse running 8 times to raid becomes every Tuesday night.

Stopped reading there.
