Barely breaks the threshold of general interest. It needs to be at least as demanding as Blue Eyes for elves in Alliance. And it isn’t, sadly.
Nobody been breaking doors for Sethrak anywhere, and Mechagnomes were playable long before you heard of their existence. They were chosen to be playable because they are reskinned gnomes, which means development cycle for that “race” was greatly reduced.
You thinking with your perceptions and emotions, while you should think with your logic and money, like blizzard or any other business does.

first, that list of races? love it. it’s a list of races i actually want in the game (you forgot broken, arakkoa, mantid, mogu, and hozen btw… also you spelled jinyu wrong), but i’m still gonna disagree with you on the ‘never’ in your statements.
again, not saying your wrong, just that ‘never’ is a pretty darn intense word.
i mean, the programming, models, and most of the animations are all there. all blizz would have to do is give’em a couple more animations (dances and stuff), record some dialog, and do an intro for’em.
so ‘never’ is a little intense considering all the work already put in. i’d just say ‘not likely’.

Exactly. And that was in part my point as well. If Sethrak remain androgynous that’s great. And there will be people that like that. It’s 2020. Not 2004.
Tell that to shareholders, play testers, developers, and artists at Blizzard, not me. I’d be happy just to have them, boobs or no boobs.

I said classic would never happen.
I said vulpera would never be added.
I said there would never be high elves customization or otherwise.

So far, my analysis and predictions were 99% correct, down to the part where cloaks on Forsaken will still have their torn gap where their spinal cord used to be.
So yeah, long story short, I do have much of a clue what Blizzard will do and therefore I can predict what they will do because I have experience in marketing, and I have been with this game and community since its inception, albeit on different account.
No, I just don’t like when people foster a overly high(optimistic) expectations within themselves just to get disappointed.

Well artists and developers decided to make Sethrak in the first place so there is that. They decided they were popular enough to include them in some manner in the upcoming expansion. Not just Emeni. I’ll have you know.
Also, we got a trans character in Shadowlands. That was obviously approved by all of the above. And I bring this up because some of my trans friends present as androgynous.
Really don’t see how androgynous snakes are going to be a problem for Blizzard’s renevue.
They will make money off adding the race as a playable one.
I got some friends who won’t play the game but would pick it up in a heartbeat if they added a reptilian race.
So they’re definitely missing an audience type.

This is something I really hate when people say.
If your arguments were so strong you would have had someone who agrees with you by now. Instead you do not.

I am to wonder why’s everytime someone disagrees with facts, then this someone is almost always a female elf demon hunter. But then again, I do realize I kind of stepping on people’s dreams, but healthy realism is better than unhealthy optimism.

Helped by both factions, and an invalid point anyways because multiple allied races have broken this “requirement” already. Void elves didn’t even exist until their recruitment scenario.
Sethraliss has a female model which is barely less distinct than the vulpera.
Which shows continued development for Sethrak going into Shadowlands, undermining your point.
They’re the second most requested allied race and regularly top polls, and you’ve never been in a Blizzard meeting room and have zero perspective on what they would discuss.
