I’m not the one making these unspoken rules, blizzard does.
Yeah, “Unspoken”, meaning you make them up by pure assumptions alone.
Oh you need to be able to equip helmets properly? I guess I will go sit in the corner, with the mechagnomes and their non-existant gear appearance slots.
And male pandas, who have, like, three helm options that allow them to actually see.
Yeah the helm thing doesn’t hold water now that Blizzard introduced a race that can’t mog not one slot but 4.
I meant mechanically using game assets and functions. Never said it had to look good
Would also be interesting to have a new playable race that doesn’t have fur lol
It doesnt hold water because worgen exist
They look terrible
So you telling me literally every playable race having that factor is not enough to make it a solid fact?
If anything, its the “assumption”, or rather, your own perception, that some of you can’t tell the difference between male and female vulpera. That’s not how business and media works.
Sure bruh. Keep telling yourself that.
…
…
Ok I laughed. Don’t tell our worgen brothers and sisters, please.
some folks find it hard to tell the difference between male and female vulpera, but y’know… that did’nt stop blizzard. the loa fact… well, you might be right about it, but with the horde having bwonsamdi at their back, and the alliance slowly learning about loa (as far as i can tell) in shadows rising, sethrak could be their window into learning more.
i’m not saying your wrong, but… y’never know, they could happen. not saying it will, just… y’know, it could.
Also, going off the assumption that a male audience is ONLY interested in sex appeal.
I get it, sex sells. But there are a lot of other things that will appeal to the male audience. And female audience as well.
Sethrak are cool, yo. And cool is a selling point.
Because Blood Elves becoming paladins through Twilight Vamparism is totally logical and not just a lore convenience for Horde Paladins.
We both help the Sethrak. Horde side with the Vulpera because… reasons. The Sethrak can easily show their mettle towards the Alliance by being the first Loa-based Paladin class.
Blood Elves are full amazonian women since TBC, that’s a bunch of .
All the matters is full skeletal animation, voice-acted male/females, and people are interestd in them.
Bull . People weren’t breaking down the door for the Mecha Daiper Gnomes as much as they were for Sethrak.
Sethrak can easily be given to the Alliance as a niche race.
It’s true though.
I never helm my Worgen cause they look STUPID.
Would never helm a Sethrak either. They’re too cool.
Unless it was a heritage armor or something.
I don’t agree with this argument either. There’s nothing sexy about vulpera and tauren.
SIGH
Yes, yes NB4 “lol furries” and whatever else.
p.s. My point is, I don’t think a race must be sexy for it to be playable.
That is again up to individual perspective. If 7 out of 10 people in meeting room could tell male and female apart while looking at the whiteboard with the drawings of them sticked to it, then its how it is.
Tuskar, Taunka, Saurok, Naga, Ogres, Jinu, Gilbins, actual Mechagnomes, Tol’vir and myriad of other races are more than enough material for me to confidently say that sethrak will never be playable and that I know it will never happen.
Not even that niche. Plenty of MMO’s have a reptilian option. And it’s because there is a demand and a player base for that.
y’wanna know those reasons? we helped them out’ve a cage, transported them across the dunes, and gave them a supply line. that’s pretty-much it.
I’m all for a reptilian race we really need some scales up in here.
However the loa have been helping the horde kill alliance since forever. I don’t think they would bless another race against us. The loa are FOR THE HORDE.
