Servers Offline - ETA List?

08:45 PDT - Just downloaded the update and logged in, but the servers are all listed as Offline. Is there an ETA list somewhere that I’m missing that gives an expected time on when the realms will be up an running?
(The server status page just shows the same thing as the Realm List, post login.)

There isn’t an ETA as things can happen and it’d make that ETA meaningless.

It’s Tuesday maintenance. It’s scheduled until 11 a.m. PST.

Yup, it’s noted right in the launcher.

Expected maint is expected to run from 7-11am.

Well… no Zenjy, not really. There used to be ETA’s all the time, when the Realms were expected to be available for play after maintenance or an update. And when the unexpected happened, Blizz would post a notice on the Login screen. I’ve seen neither, so that’s why I’m looking for the info. It’s hardly meaningless to provide information, even when it’s a best guess.

Eta are pointless since people think estimated is is set in stone.

Was it? Okay I didn’t see it in my launcher. Thanks Amaelalin.

Your ETA is within the maintence message:

7am to 11am!

I’m not sure how you missed it. It’s currently listed as a banner on the Battle Net app and Support Site, plus a notification on the login screen.

I haven’t checked Twitter, but I imagine it’s there too.

Sorry Melaesia, but there is no banner on my Launcher, and no notification on my login screen. I literally just started it up again, 5 mins after your post, and nothing. If I could insert screenshots here I would show you. That’s how I missed it. They’re not there. Not sure why it is for you and not me.

At which page of the Launcher are you looking?

This is how it currently appears to me:

It’s also posted on the support page.

Mainly because I don’t want to sign up for an Imgur account to insert functioning links to pics in the Blizz forums: My launcher looks similar to yours, save for there’s no banner at the top. I’ve no idea why.

You don’t need an imgur account to link, it’s actually a restriction nased on trst levels in the third party forum software.

Aha! There. Thank you Kozzae. That’s the Support Page I was looking for. I was looking through the WoW website rather than the Battlenet website. This was helpful.

You don’t have to. You can use Imgur for free with no account, or you can get to Trust Level 3 to be able to post links. But that’s really not here nor there…

Neither do we. There’s only so much we can do to help, but now you know that maintenance is scheduled until 11 a.m. PST.

Is there anything else we can answer?

You shouldn’t need to sign up for an Imgur account to just upload an image there.

However, if you lack Trust Level 3 here on the Forums you will be unable to directly post it as I did.

But you can still include the URL in your post and just highlight it and then click the </> icon to encase it in punctuation.

The link will then appear like this example:

https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/news

Then anyone can just copy/paste it to view your image.

If it’s not showing, your launcher might not be up to date. You can try just reinstalling that without reinstalling games

Ooohhh let’s try this for giggles. See if this link will take.

I think the reason why the message doesn’t appear for you is because you’re offline within the Battle.NET app. Though I could be wrong, but I think that is the reason why.

Because it shows for me
