All in all they want many players to get the most $. So difficult content is doable by players ages 14-45 with a steep drop off after age 35 due to families and responsibilities and such. Now easy grinding can be done from age 8 all the way through 100. So by shear numbers you want to appeal to that demographic. My mother in law plays, and shes not running M+. She’s in her 80’s.

If someone can properly do the content, they should have access to the rewards of that content.

alternatively sweaty hardtries can go and play, whtever it is they play, dark souls, idk, chess maybe? to really show IQ and everything.
Find people a substitute for WOW then sure.
Can’t find anything that replicates M+ yet, fellowship might be something. (But not out yet.) And WOW raids are fine on their own, no need for a replacement.
People are here because of the content that exists, not the game some people wish this one becomes.

WOW’s difficulty waxes and wanes. It’s never a constant.

WOW takes skill, and has challenge, why find a new game? You have to find something that is superior for people to move. And likely by multiple facets because of sunk cost.

Chess is PVP.
PVP of which I do not play in WOW because it does it poorly. I play League of Legends or Teamfight tactics instead.
