Same. Galaxy S7 Edge on Verizon. Alwaya worked until this past weekend. Now wont connect on Wifi or cell, and app reset, delete, cache clean, etc doesnt help. I can log in, and see characters, but then after selecting a character it goes back to account login screen. On one attempt, I actually saw someone else’s characters! Ruh-row.
Are there any progress updates on this problem that many people are having?

Same here gets characters then logs off, oneplus 7 pro on ATT and wifi. I’ve also Uninstalled and cleared storage, cache then reloaded, problem persists.
I’m having the same problem as everyone else here and it did start at the same time as the DDoS attack. I now have to manually hit “log in.” It then takes me to character selection. Then it takes me back to log-in and so on in a never-ending loop. This happens both on wifi and cell service.
I use a Google Pixel 3a on T-Mobile. I’ve done (1) restart of the phone, (2) reentered my WoW info fresh, and (3) done a reinstall of the app itself all without any success.

Probably not because the same issue is happening with other devices. I have a pixel 2 xl and same issue here

Wifi (many different sources tried) or cell data, same response.
Uninstalled and reinstalled: same problem
Force stopped and restarted: same problem.

Hello, i am also having the same problem i click on my character, the gears spin and spin then it returns me back to log in screen. I am on an android LG. I hope they can fix this because this ap has been very helpful.

Im having the same problem i cannot connect through wifi or mobile data
Same problem with my companion app. I havent been able to log in since sept 7th. I get to the login/account select screen and takes me to character select. I select character and it starts connection and then takes me back to login/account select screen.
Same issues for me. It persists on both WiFi and cellular.
I am able to login, see my toons and select them. It is then that it tries to connect, but never does.
Same problem for me. Login in, select character, connecting, fails, back to login.
Samsung Note 9. Wifi, cell phone data, different networks. Doesnt matter. Never works.

Just curious though, since this all seems to be tied back to a DDoS mitigation tactic, which I am grateful for if it contributed to my ability to play at all over the weekend, what value does that mitigation still have?
Within fairly short order, the Linux user base figured it out, and posted on your own forums literally how to mitigate your mitigation. In my mind, this renders it completely useless at this point since your users, in trying to get around an inconvenience, showed potential attackers also how to bypass the change. If that is the reality of the situation, wouldn’t it be best to just remove those filtering techniques since the protection they offered has been bypassed, and in removing them, not having to reinvent the wheel to get previously working services working again?
