Sept 8th/9th 2019 - WoW Companion App Won't Connect

I’ve been having same issues. Wifi and mobile data.
I uninstalled, reset phone and cleared cache and data.
Hopefully this will be resolved with maintenance

I’m having the same problem for several days. Have an S7 and tried un-installing/re-installing without any change.

Same set of issues since the weekend - the app will log in up until the character select and then once one is selected it throws you back to account login after a minute or two … until today (Sept 10), now it kicks back a battle.net error that says “unable to connect” from the initial login screen … so this was obviously not addressed during weekly maintenance

I saw someone mention that they have a Pixel 3 and upgraded to Android 10 too. I also have a Pixel 3 and upgraded to Android 10 a few days ago. I wonder if there’s something with Android 10 preventing us from logging in as I’ve noticed the companion app as well as other apps affected after the upgrade as well.

Same issue, I have a Samsung Note 8, and it doesn’t work in my work or home Wi-FIs and with cellphone data

I’m still receiving both issues it seems. On wifi i get to the character screen, then back to login, the issue since DDOS attacks.

On data i can’t even get to the character screen. Receiving the same error i have been since 8.2 was released. My wifes phone which is on the same carrier and data plan gets to the character select screen on wifi and data before being sent back to login screen.

So both the original problem and the new problem are still in effect.

FYI I have a Pixel 3 and did not upgrade to Android 10 yet. I still had this issue starting a few days ago, even on Android 9. Might be coincidental, but the timing does line up with the ddos attacks.

Same issue. Been a few days now.
Fails to log in. Brings to login screen. Hit login. Get to character select. Then after selecting I get sent back to login screen.
On a Pixel 2XL.

having the same issue, go to log in, shows me my list of characters. I select the one i want to log in as and it takes me back to the title screen that shows log in etc.

Same issue with me

Same issue. Samsung S8. Multiple wifi networks attempted and 4g on T-mobile.

Also, using the authenticator app was almost impossible to even log in. I type in my username and password. It then asks to authenticate using the app. I go to the app and say approve. I go back to the wow companion app - it has gone back to the login screen. The only way around this was to first go to the authenticator app and copy the code. Immediately open companion and type in username and password quickly. Then use the type in code option and paste the authenticator’s code.

Same issue Pixel 3 with Verizon. Been a couple of days since last able to use it. Tried to uninstall and reinstall but same reaults

Same issue here. I can get to my character selection screen, but once I choose a character, I see the Connecting screen and then after about 30 seconds I am punted back to the Login screen.

I have been having the same issues over the last couple of days. Rather frustrating what am I to do now when I’m at work?!?! Actually do my job I THINK NOT!

It wont auto log me in as it usually does, I have to manually press Login, NP
I see my char selection, select char.

Edit: Did a full uninstall and reload, nothing changes.

This worked on both Wi-Fi and Cell before 9/7/19 then stopped working.
