How much haste rating = 5% haste at lvl 45? (the level of the trinket) … just make it that.
It’s not mandatory at all. I’m 10/10 now and have had Max of 1 Chicken in a party, and 0 to 1 Drums.
You may need this to make sure you get those 99s, but the rest of the world isn’t worried.

Ya it’s not mandatory, neither are consumes but you still use them right? It’s a silly argument to say “ you can clear without it so it’s not mandatory” because you know once people start doing it you really kind of have to in order to compete.
It’s also not a bad thing to make previous expansion stuff obsolete a lot of time, idk what you are talking about.

Compete with what? Parsing? Parsing is a joke in tbc, too group/comp/bad strat reliant. Also having stuff from the previous expansion is only tedious if you are min maxing at the highest level (irrelevant if you are not, as it’s not mandatory), if not it’s just a fun bonus.
I said it earlier in this thread, but to reiterate: if drums were worthy of changing, so is the chicken. It is essentially the same.

This is a weak argument for many reasons. Your same logic applies to world buffs in classic.
Many said that only top parse chasers would use world buffs and the rest of the community would do without. Look how that turned out. World buffs became mandatory for pretty much every guild by the end of classic.

World buffs in classic were far more powerful and affected the whole raid no just melee classes. This comparison doesn’t work.
First off I do actually have a r1 in my logs so nice try. There’s not “skill” in that it’s just some luck and using things like chicken.
The reason I compared it to consumes was because people are on something when you say something as stupid as “it’s not mandatory” because you know it becomes that way. Look no further than world buffs. This is a toxic game play that requires people to reroll a profession for engi. Consumes you actually just pop in a raid with no profession gating them from you.
Don’t be an idiot, you know chicken isn’t good for the game. If it wasn’t a big deal then why did drums get nerfed?

Chicken is fine
Not needed to be competitive or clear content. Not in anyway shape or form mandatory. Doesnt hurt your gameplay at all so if you dont want to use em just dont. God forbid melee get anything good.

Ya it’s a lot of skill to stack the group for myself while taking a lust from another group to chase my super skilled r1. You clearly don’t know what you are talking about. It requires some skill, but not a perfect amount. When you get to the top level you are competing against so few other players also stacking those same things in their favor.
