Send the Battle Chicken out to pasture

You didnt need world buffs to finish classic either but if you didnt get them, you were seen as a slacker.

I just can’t wait for wrath to come around as parses aren’t as annoying. I really hate all the extra steps to parse 99s. I’m still missing 99s on 6/10 bosses but everything is 95% or better. I use super sapper and goblin sappers and mostly full consumes aside from scrolls occasionally.

I do pretty well considering the max chickens we get is 2 and that’s rare, in addition to no arms warrior and a lack of drums.

I’m surprised anyone who ran around the entire world collecting buffs would complain about trying to get buffs to proc INSIDE the instance they’re raiding.

Besides, parses rely upon RNG and the highest clearly demonstrate this. Not sure what you’re complaining about. It’s called ‘gaming.’

I love reading through this thread and only seeing melee think the chicken doesnt need a fix.
Its like a swarm of rats saying “what about that trash piling up in the streets? i dont see the problem.”

I’m a fury warrior main and I can tell you that chickens need a fix asap. 25% haste for 4 mins is ridiculously overpowered for fury warriors and rage generation.

Its over 27% haste with how the formula works. Not trying to be rude just wanting to state how ridiculous it is and people saying that its a choice are being disingenuous with their statements.

It is a choice, you get the chicken or you find a new raid team.

See easy choice.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Seeing as you are in bipolar and probably have to wait for chickens on every boss, you have my condolences. Especially because the arcanite dragonling doesnt work to make up for it.

Hate to break it to you but if blizzard doesnt fix chickens now it will continue to become a thing in wrath. I have seen people use it on wrath pservers

I mean, if I had known about it before launch? Probably would have gone engineering. But I will be damNed before I drop my jewelcrafting at this point.

drop it or find a new raid team
:stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah because this is a single player game where you never have to consider anyone else right?

This stupid argument made no sense for world buffs and still makes no sense. Why do you think they got rid of world buffs in SOM?

Or for that matter why do you think they got rid of them in 2007 when TBC was retail?

Why do you think they broke the chicken and stuff like it in WOTLK in 2008?

really reinforcing the stereotype that classic players are all insufferable cry-babies…

Lets be real here, chickens working the way they are now is not an intended part of the game and i’m pretty sure that if they worked this way in the original tbc, blizzard (OG) would have done something about.

Hopefully it gets put down with the nerfs. A classic item shouldn’t be bis and mandatory in tbc and beyond.

KT and Vashj are literally the only two that is hard to get procs for.

Invalidating content from previous expansions has always been a bad idea and detrimental to the games health

It’s not mandatory. And if your guild says it is, and they aren’t one of the top guilds in world, they are lying.

It’s only mandatory if you want to be a r1 on wcl. That’s it. You can still parse a 99 without it especially as non melee.

No guilds are requiring this unless they are speed clearing or getting rank 1 parses and if you are here on the forums complaining I already know you aren’t doing either one so mind your own business.

Yeah dude 27% haste for an entire fight is not mandatory.

It’s not. It’s only mandatory in the highest competition of parsing and speed clearing. If you aren’t doing that you have no right to say it is mandatory.

There are very few guilds that even HAVE groups with 5 people stacking chickens.

You clowns on the forums are blowing this way out of proportion.
