Selling of Mythic Runs

A while back, Acti… er… Blizzard banned and no-play penaltied entire guilds for selling Mythic runs. Now when you go into the Pre-Made groups and look under dungeons, there are constantly people selling (for real money on their websites!) Mythic runs. If you report them, the initiator of the group gets put on an invisible ignore list for about an hour or so and is right back. Websites hosted in… guess where? PRC.

As to you little jab there…

Most of the oldschool Blizzard are gone now. Blizzard may not be Activision but Blizzard is gutted compared to its prime.

Give it up because you’re just making yourself look like a shill.

Kotaku just had a pretty damning article about Activision’s negative influence on Blizzard and their culture so just stop with this “Blizzard is totally separate” nonsense because they’re not.

Blizzard as we knew it is dead and what we have left now is Activision wearing a Blizzard mask and hoping nobody will notice.

The reporting mechanic temporarily ignores the account you are reporting. It lasts for you game session. If you log out at any point that temporarily list is cleared. The report is still generated though, and the matter looked into.

Please continue to report such behavior. If you know of a website advertising real world sales like that, please forward it to our hacks team.

Eh, some are, but many are not. Even so, many of the folks that have joined us over the years fit in nicely with the Blizzard culture.

However, this really isn’t the appropriate place for this discussion, I’m going to lock this one up.

I agree wholeheartedly. It’s getting worse and worse by the day. Soon we won’t be able to use it because it’s filled with junk.

I posted this today as well to think of a better system where it’s not quite as spammable.
