Let’s roll some FOTM teams with something ridiculous.
Outlaw Rogue would be bomb. Maybe a Fury Warrior.
I need to know 2 things:
- How’s your burst?
- How’s your survivability?
As a Vengeance DH, I can delete 50% of someone’s health (and even more if it crits) in a single blow, on a 1 minute, 30 second CD.
But as a tank, I need someone with good survivability since my partner just keeps getting focused and killed before I’m able to use my ability a second time.
If you have good burst, enough so we can easily burn folks down together before you get killed (or before they can heal), then we’ll make a good team. I win almost any 1v1 situation.
So, how are you doing right now?
Oh, and did I mention that I pretty much destroy Sub Rogues rn?

If I had a second Vengeance DH partner (and a good one), I could push to 2400 blindfolded.
But unfortunately, Blizz doesn’t allow 2 tanks in arenas.

You right it’s not just DH tanks it’s all DHs. It’s a personal vendetta after being stun/mana drifted on CD with no available counter play.

Because it would be too OP.
Best part is when you get the angry whispers. Playing Afflic/Hpriest or Afflic/Rdruid 2s and getting SCREAMED at by glad warriors, rets, etc. is truly the highlight of my day.

You’d be saying the same thing if Blizz didn’t allow Sub Rogues in arenas, since you don’t like losing.
But if you can’t beat 2 tanks, you need to L2P better instead of just having the comp being restricted by Blizzard.

I’d honestly prefer it if they restricted it to zero tanks, personally. But that’s just me, and I understand that there are folks that only want to play tank so blizz allows one on a team.
But yea, its a cancerous thing tbh. No idea what I’d do if they allowed 2x vengeance DHs being healed by a prot pally, for instance.
I’d probably uninstall. Not because I can’t play tank-- of course I can. I’ve played all roles to high level in pve, and dmg/healed in pvp as well. But it would be a super unfun thing to play, and I play to have fun.
