Second wow account ban

I just want to point this out, while it does look that way, it could also not be exactly that as the reason, but just our speculation. And Blizzard wouldn’t tell us exactly what triggered the OP to be banned, let alone, tell the OP themselves.

Arcanepumper, if you do create another WoW license, try a different method of levelling incase it is exactly what Renjiji and others are stating.

Thanks Ayukama, I have to wait for my ticket to be resolved first and my accounts to be unbanned. The good thing is that I have now recorded most of my gameplay. Now I’m wondering if I should create another ticket for my recently banned account, or if I can just send one ticket for both my WOW1 and WOW3.

If you like having those recordings, that’s awesome. Just understand that Blizzard will not use them as any sort of evidence in your appeal.

That have their own data and logs and that’s all they’ll view for an appeal.

If you want to appeal the second account action, you absolutely need to put in a separate ticket.

Arcanepumper, please do NOT follow the above advice. That email address is not for appeals or for you to submit a video that the appeal time will NOT look at.

Unfortunately, time-to-time, we have people who try to make up their own advice instead of following that of the Support Forum Agents who post here. Don’t waste your time or get any sort of false hopes up with that advice.

Do not send an email to try and appeal. Only send an email if there is an exploit/hack that Blizzard does need to be notified about. Now, considering people caught on with what the Opening poster might of been caught for, Blizzard is probably made aware. But do not advise on people using the hacks email for appeals.

What does “dfmb” stand for?

Think someone said it stands for “don’t flag me bro.”

A video recorded on Twitch can be strong evidence in arbitration if a pretrial settlement doesn’t lead to a fair result . That’s why I really recommend recording your gameplay, especially if you’re leveling up in dungeons.

Thanks.

The top results from Google was “Department of Fisheries and Marine Biology” and “Deep Fried Mars Bars” and I figured that’s probably not what Pooh meant.

It will not be taken I to account during an appeal.

The advice you were given above was terrible unfortunately.

If not advising him then what was the reason behind saying send the video to the hacks team. Think you really need to think longer before you hit reply.

This isn’t a court of law. Blizzard goes solely by their logs. You don’t get to argue your case. You don’t get to provide evidence. There is no trial, pre or otherwise.

You’re really just wasting your time.

Truth is, while you can give that advice, that will not show every bit of everything. Blizzard logs will show a lot more information than any video you can record. And considering that you’re dealing with the hacks team, the videos would be irrelevant.

Now, multiple instances could be at play to what caused for you to recieved the ban. Sometimes, it isn’t even specific to WoW, but could be a program you have on your computer. But we can’t exactly tell you. That is why you can only appeal via submitting a ticket. And any evidence that you can try and give won’t be used, because Blizzard completely goes by their logs, and not by what someone has recorded, or screenshotted, or etc.

Also, keep in mind too, appeals isn’t a way to plead your case. It is actually there to determined if Blizzard has made an error on there end. Which is why the decision by them would to be upheld or revert the decision if they did make an error on there end.

Hope you have loads of money. No lawyer will take a case like this unless you pay up front. Considering you do not own the accounts good luck

It’s worth noting that depending on the circumstances of the case, Blizzard may cover some of these costs or reimburse them if the ban is successfully challenged.

If it is successful, and you have been granted access again, they will only reimburse time. If it upheld, they will give you nothing.

We are talking about arbitration fees, postage costs, and any additional expenses, such as if it is necessary to hire experts to analyze the situation . We’re talking about arbitration costs, not pre-trial proceedings.
