Second wow account ban

The forums are not an avenue for you to provide evidence. Your stream will not be considered, simply because Blizzard relies on their internal logs, and of those generated by Warden (their anti-cheat system).

I’d probably add the second actioned account info to the existing appeal ticket.

As Nephe has mentioned:

To add on to what Nephe has said, nothing here on the forums can be done, and the appeal would have to be done to the hacks team, who do not visit these forums.

He knows this full well from the LAST time he posted about his account actions. And now that it’s happened a second time, I do not even remotely trust the small possibility that it is a false flag on the account.

OP, I just watched your video. I’m not Blizzard, so take what I’m going to say with a grain of salt, but the wall jumping back and forth to kite packs of mobs to AoE them down could be considered an terrain exploit. Just because you can do it, doesn’t mean you should. It’s not the way the dungeon is intended to be run.

Good luck on your appeal.

Thank you Cyntaria, this method of powerleveling is quite famous on popular streamers and it is also an old farm, you can find lots of guides on youtube and that is why I personally think it is ok to level this way.

What you think is okay, and what is okay is two very different things. It is clearly an exploit, as shown in your VOD, and just because it hasn’t been patched out yet doesn’t change that fact. I would suggest if you want to avoid future bans, then stop doing it.

Thank you Ayukama, yes I know that nothing can be done on forums, but it’s important to give as much information as possible so that we can see the big picture.

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with AoE grinding. Nothing at all. Ever.

No.

No.

Depending on policy.

Please stop.

Simply gathering up mobs and AOEing them down on a mage is fine.

Abusing pathing to make pulls that should not be possible possible, is what can land you in trouble.

We already know they do nothing but spread misinformation. Best to just flag and ignore them.

Yes they are - but they’re also bound by following current policies and nothing to do with how they feel on that day as you claim.

Yes, but if all GM’s are bound by all the same policy wouldn’t every single mage who does the ZF trick will be banned? As it is considered “terrain” exploiting.

So it is up to the GM that day who receives the ticket and investigates it if its exploitative. GM’s are people too.

Yes, I completely agree with you. AOE’ing is fine. But using the terrain is what lands you in trouble.

However, there are many guides out there such as “Solo Cyclonian Whirlwind axe” that uses terrain to exploit. WoWhead endorses these tricks unfortunately and lands people with actioned accounts.

While that is true, given that this is the 2nd account action OP has received for cheating, it is entirely possible that there’s something else going on that we aren’t being told about.

I will reply to whatever thread I feel like. You have gotten two accounts banned for cheating, and watching that vod you are using a very clear exploit. This is not trolling, this is fact. I don’t care how you feel about it, the fact of the matter is that exploiting of any kind is an actionable thing, and as far as I can see your account actions are justified. You can keep trying to appeal, but I very highly doubt that you will get any farther than getting told it is upheld. Don’t exploit and cheat, and you will not be actioned. It’s that simple.
