That’s factually untrue now since horde/ally can raid together now. It’s all up to personal preference now, and you can freely choose a race with better racials if you want. I know they’ve changed some of the racials up too, though i dont know specific details. Ally was always better for PVP and horde for PVE, or at least until i stopped playing retail.
I never said these are low priority in an overall sense, just that non-parsers aren’t going to care about the imbalance between horde/ally pve. In fact I’m willing to be at least half of that majority player base doesnt even know about it. All i said was no one cares except parsers, which is the truth, and the parsers and the culture surrounding parsing are one of the reasons that casuals/ect (the majority) dont interact with the raids in SOD as much since BFD.
Dude. At least learn about the class before you type. First off, its overcharge. Second of all, its supposed to be a tank rune. The wrist rune ele’s use was just fixed today because it wasnt doing its job, but alas, its still a garbage rune. Overcharge is probably still better because the ele version of the write rune absolutely sucks.
a MD nerf would push shaman tanks even further down the rabbit hole of going full SP, already talks about going 30/8/0 and just casting Lightning bolts now, were dooming over here
I use to think that locks were hot garbage… until I started having to deal with their soul link haunt and felguard. Now you want to buff them by 120%? Are you people out of your damned mind? Besides hunters and shamans doing insane damage, this was a VERY balanced phase. Stop buffing and start nerfing dipsticks.
Any chance Shamans could have the threat on Molten Blast un nerfed? No notes ever said it had it’s threat reduced, but since phase 3 it’s honestly questionable as to even being worth having.
Previously was ~3x damage to threat with WoE.
Currently it’s ~1.6x damage to threat.
Considering it hits like a wet blanket and costs a fair chunk of mana (why?!)
Ability still clearly states it generates a high amount of threat, which is patently not true.
Also…what would be wrong about correcting the imbalance for the people that care, even if some don’t? Even the people that “don’t care” if asked and prompted for an answer, would say that they would prefer that the factions were balanced if they perceived themselves to be receiving the short end of the stick.
Dont need to know specifics to know things are heavily skewed in shamans favor
my mistake on misnaming the ability based off what someone said previous in this thread
Well lucky the economy is already in shambles now, am i right???
Haha jk but i really dont think the average casual player is going to notice a real difference. Maybe on ally side since theyre the ones mad about shamanistic rage, but if the faction balance technology works as intended, then it shouldnt cause a real issue.
Even so, the vocal majority are already so invested in the game to be posting on here in the first place, i really dont think as many of them are going to quit as you think. Over horde not needing as many mana pots in raid? Yeah i dont think so, but who knows.
I mean, most of the people here have already cleared the raid, so clearly it isn"t as big of an issue as people are complaining about. It’s just a class having a flavor spell that should be party wide instead of raid wide, or hunters topping meters. Just play the game imo, and reroll if you want sweaty parses/OP pvp experience. Some people reroll every time theres a new meta, but complaining about every other class just isnt it imo.
Doesn’t help that molten blast has AP scaling, but the rockbiter nerfs and everything else is pushing for spellpower. People are gearing elemental tank, and no attack power really, which really hurts Molten Blast damage for anyone who wants to use it.
Well, rather than gold I was thinking item supply.
The faction tech is flawed, but even if it wasn’t, there would be nothing they could do to prevent Alliance from simply unsubbing.
I’m referring to all changes, racials, history of no real shaman nerfs, etc. not those brought up specifically by others in this thread. It’s compounding.
I don’t think balance and player trust is a thing worth ignoring even if the devs think they can get away with it.
Horde v Horde battlegrounds probably once all the Alliance PvPers unsub or reroll.
