So why on earth aren’t you doing an actual balance patch? Understaffed?
Bring on uber Unstable Affliction
Not sure what you’re doing, but I’ve been able to get off regular wild growths, and with fury of stormrage, and dreamstate I’m able to keep constant mana regen while topping charts with passive aoe hots healing lol
were not talking about a bg filled with literal potatoes. Were talking about good pvprs vs good pvprs.
I understand it lol, and I understand there are some cheesey tactics sometimes, but typically it’s people trying to perform the best they possibly can. I never said top10 is the end-all be-all of performance, but you said it’s “massively overperforming”, don’t you think that would be reflected in a TPP used to determine peak performance…?
Because the balance is based on their lvl60 build no doubt, so they’re just doing damage control when necessary without trying to make too many drastic changes. That’s my guess anwyways.
Oh no, the class with the most new abilities on top of all the utility in the game isn’t buffed the way you want
The top guild in sod rerolled their entire guild Alliance. If that doesn’t tell you enough about Shaman vs Paladin idk what will. Stop crying.
Thank you for listening to the community!!! Great change!!
One thing I haven’t seen a lot of people talking about is the threat implications of the Seal of Martyrdom change. If the mana battery effect on Martyrdom works like every other non-exempt resource restore then “significantly increasing” it as you say could lead to an unsustainable threat situation for non-tank Paladins. Ret paladins were already having issues with threat even before this change, in part due to Martyrdom’s mana battery effect. While it’s a good change, I hope someone on the dev team took the time to playtest this in a raid environment with an eye to the threat issue - otherwise many paladins (and therefore raids) will find taking advantage of this change to be impractical.
Rerolling Shaman. Just too many benefits and Paladin is kinda eh…

Good thing the developers won’t reach out to you for help.
Its insane that yall still havent changed Mutliate, or balanced out other rogue specs. You cant go anything but daggers in SOD because of how much better mutilate is than anything else
Why not just leave it a leg rune?
True, Seal twisting is whack.
Utilising old coding to unintentionally have 2 seals active at once for a second is terribly unintuitive and poor design.
Deliberately implementing it would be a hilariously bad idea.
I’m sorry, is this a joke for feral players?
so many alliance player got that victims mentality … its crazy !
Can we also match the shaman dps too? Since you are purposely leaving a faction specific class at the bottom of the rankings, while the opposite faction counterpart is S-tier dps for 2 phases in a row?
Shaman tanks have
- terrible single target threat
- huge mana issues
- to use rockbiter which does almost nothing anymore
- cannot DW anymore because of how of earth works now
- They cannot use Sham rage because it’s the same slot as way of earth
All recent changes hit shaman tanks harder than Enhance.
Personally haven’t had any issues with threat this phase in particular, last phase it was a problem really only for the last fight of the instance and only during a single attack where the tank is unable to generate threat. Among our two 20 mans we’ve ran Pally, Druid, Warlock, and Rogue tanks so far and have had almost no problems maintaining threat in ST so far and our paladins do not ramp down damage at all, they are trying to parse.
