Season 4 is basically testing grounds for Destiny model in WoW

So clear up to that boss and then go do something else? Your argument was that a raiding guild dies without raiding, so now, presumably, your guild won’t die. I figured, by your own logic mind you, having a year of no raiding might kill your guild.

Desperation. The people still working on this expansion have no new ideas. Their interest goes as far as systems and ends there. They don’t understand why everyone didn’t just love this perfectly designed expansion.

see time walking is fun, nostalgic. its not the same as redoing the tier we just slogged though last month. Maybe in 10 years ill be down to redo the sylv fight, but right now… no.

But you know what people dont do… the timewalking raids, you may not even know these exist, cause no one does em.

It’s a perfectly designed pile of dog :poop: so at least they got that right.

This was kind of the inevitable end result of making “new” content by putting a multiplier on all the numbers and duct taping on mechanics. Anybody could’ve predicted things ending up like this as soon as M+ or perhaps even challenge modes entered the picture. The allure of rebadging old into “new” in place of actual-new is just too alluring.

Making old content relevant again is fine, but when that starts being used as an excuse to not make new things you’ve got problems.

Actually if it’s a ghost town, it won’t be “fine”.

The issue is that MMO’s need a massive number of players to keep the lights on. But the market is small, so it is important for them to do whatever it takes to keep the customers they have, so they don’t go elsewhere, find a game they like better, and never come back.

I have played destiny and enjoyed it. It is weird in wow how there is so much content that no one ever does. The dungeons themselves are good. Yet people only like to limit themselves to current expansion dungeons.

I appreciate the efforts in season 4 to make raiding and more instances relevant. I think they should consider making these raids more pug friendly. Especially by letting players have less players needed such as 6-8 needed. Or introduce stuff like single tank versions of the encounters.

people have been asking for this… as usual someone has to suck on a lemon.

nothing for us casuals until 10.0 its only for the top 10% of players that will do the old content…lol.

The destiny model is based off magic the gathering’s business model. If you never got into collectible card games because they’re predatory and expensive to stay relevant with, stay far away from businesses using it.

I would almost be okay with this if it meant they’d upgrade the gears graphics. I like my set now, I would like it more if it was as nice as sets from WoD up.

But I know they won’t. Blizzard going above and beyond? Tf is this?

What?

I haven’t touched a mini since they dropped pewter for plastic.

I haven’t touched a Warhammer 40k box since 3D printing became a thing.

Whaaaaaat?

It’ll be totally fun! Like when you want to get a few weekly tomes in XiV so you are banished to The Thousand Snores of Totonap for the 5th time that week to watch over 3 “players” and drag them to your bribe.

Personal progression is so last year.

I lol’d. Thanks.

Not sure why another game having something similar means that Blizzard is making WoW like that other game.

ESO’s instances are available across the entire game at every level and they give rewards appropriate to the level of the character. Does that mean WoW is going to end up like ESO? (Well, it wouldn’t suffer from it, if the devs put as much social/casual content into WoW as exists in ESO…).

It not just plastic. Its some polysyllabic tech geek words to make it sound even better goes GW.

No games workshop…its still plastic. that they charged at metal prices…

But we must pay for the new process!

Can I pay for the old process…and get proper metal then

Everything I want. Lol I like the old dungeons and raids

They’ll keep the lights on. People will be back for 10.0.

It’ll definitely be a dark period, though - expect a lot of 6 month mounts and store stuff.
