I say Sholo-mance even though I guess it’s technically wrong.
See, English is funny like that. There’s different ways to pronounce certain letters or groups of letters. Take read/read for example. Sch can make the “shh” sound also.

the H is silent “scolomance” is mroe like how you pronounce imo.

In english, pronunciation is based more on the word’s origin than the rules of the language.
Spartacus above mentioned the origin word Şolomanţă. It will carry its pronunciation from that rather than adapt to the rule for school because english is the bastard of bastard languages.
