I wish they would reverse this decision. Unlock Chaos Bolt, and since they’re allowing transfers, why not make it go both ways?
The silence of the dev team hurts, it’s like they don’t want to listen or something.
My condolences. I hope they make this right somehow. They’ve really shoehorned a lot of people into a terrible decision.
tbh, if they are going to intentionally kill a server at least allow xfers to all other servers. not just the sweaty one. not all people want to play with the neckbeard sweaty boys. that being said chaos bolt was doa. this isnt a shock to me but it is unfortunate and pretty unfair to the CB players enjoying it. oh wail
So Lava Lash will also be getting cb players. This means they literally killed off a bigger server to feed into a smaller one

It’s a mess for sure. Ideally they’d undo the change and unlock CB, but I think the damage is done.
I wonder if they will allow those who transferred to CS early to change their destination?

They opened transfers to Lava Lash, there ya go smol communities still there for you, is the world still over yet?
Sadly they’ll probably just boot us off after a period of time

They could have done more than what they did.
- Make an announcement >>before<< any action.
“We’ve noticed a drop active players, but more importantly in faction balance. On an RPPvP server this is regarded highly in our thought process, as is with any PvP server, so we plan to merge the smaller playerbase with the other RPPVP server to counteract this issue on -insert date here-”
- Listen to player feedback and adjust accordingly.
This is what caused Lava Lash to be included in the server transfer. This only opened up the possibility for other servers, mainly the PvP ones, since Chaos Bolt is RP and PvP. Or even the possibility of bringing Crusader Strike players over here.
Two things, just two extra steps. Then the community would have been heard and made better preparations. Just talk with your players.

I’m sad I’m losing my character names. I use it on Retail, I got it day 1 for SOD but now since they all but forced us off I lost them.

This is also something that is extremely unfair. RP server or not, names are special. To have that stripped away is insult to injury.
