For approximately 23 hours as of this post.

PROTIP: TURN OFF AUTO LOOT TO COMPLETE THIS ACHIEVEMENT. DO NOT COLLECT THE QUEST OBJECTIVE ITEMS UNTIL YOU’VE COMPLETED IT. Here’s a video guide as an example: World of Warcraft:The War Within WoW Adept Sandfisher Achievements Guide

You can also spawn multiple mobs at once by spamming the action button, don’t wait for the cast to complete.

Thanks for the notification! There were so many people in the area that I didn’t even need the WQ myself. I just stood on the dune-sized pile of worm corpses and tagged/looted what I could until I was done lol

I recommend turn off auto loot or be in a raid group, so you don’t finish the WQ.

I think you can still kill and loot mobs if you accidentally finish the WQ, but you’ll need someone else fishing them up.

Thank you for the tag Vox! :pray: I try to check the available BFA WQs through Wowhead every so often, and once I saw Sandfishing available today finally, I was immediately gonna come to the forums to post about it but you beat me to it! :slight_smile:

Really hoping everyone who needs it gets it today because who knows how many more months until it’s available again!!

I listed a raid group for myself and others, it makes it trivial because in the raid group it will disable the quest items from dropping, so the only items to loot are the different colored scales required for the achievement!

Finally finished the meta, got my Jani, I was watching the wowhead page for a heads up, so many funny comments in the lead up to it.

I see this is a Horde only quest. Everyone around me is horde, and I don’t see it as alliance. I was able to actually kill one, but could not loot it.
