Ahh Grizzle from Eredar has spoken! because he does not feel it is an issue or see it first hand it doesn’t exist. Thread closed!
Just another person with their eyes closed saying they do not see anything.

Reading is hard
Mythic+ score should adapt to include mechanics as a part of the score. Personal deaths, getting hit by the telegraphed ability, etc. should all play into your score. Anyone can get carried in mythic+ as it stands.
When you make a group, advertise it as learning group so that elitists wont join. If not, toxicity from both of you would ramp up.
When you join as a Tank, whisper the Party Leader and also to the group that you are a beginner Tank, so that expectations would be low when they let you Tank for them.
Low level content would be facerolled and would be done at super speed run. At higher end content where the content is not faceroll, you wont see them on super speed. Deaths in M+ gives timer penalty. Wipes gives massive Timer penalties. The timer is relaxed at low level. Take your time. The main reason for failure to most M+ is becoz of wipes and deaths, not really the speed. You dont see normal speeds in dungeon becoz all you do is faceroll content. Play with us at higher difficulty content and you would see what i am talking about.
There’s good and bad tanks and good and bad DPS.
In general, the biggest predictor to what my DPS will be is the tank. Usually this is due to in/consistent pull size, excessive unnecessary movement, and handling the Majority of the “Must be interrupted” events. Unpredictable pulls and having to handle things tanks would usually handle really cuts into my DPS.
Something that’s new this expansion is the loss of melee range extending abilities. So leaving mobs in ground goop can also be a real problem because it can mean I have no way to attack without getting in front of the pack with the tank and risk taking a frontal. And if I’m out of range to attack I’m usually also out of range to interrupt.
Well i wont step into an m+ again as long as theres Delves,
Get out of my head. And stop reading my mind. Had a healer yesterday that could not keep me alive. Let me die 4 times before I left. He said I was “too far” ahead of the group for 3 of the deaths and tho 4th he said. Well these mobs silence so he couldn’t heal. Then called me a non group player and a Rambo. That is when I left.
Get thicker skin is not constructive.
Bad analogy. Because it is akin to that.
Absolutely is.
“Why the hell did you pull both those packs like that!? You dont ever do that!!”
If you get your feelings hurt over that, thsts not toxicity. Thats needing thicker skin.
And its constructive as now you know to not do it
Let’s agree to disagree you go back to your perfect groups and I will go back to not finding your perfect groups. Ktnxbai
Huh? Come again?
Just put the mobs in the bag, homie.
One person has a bad run, comes to the forums to make a thread about it.
Person B reads the thread, then mentions it in amother thread about a different topic.
Person C now reads the same story about toxicity in multiple threads and starts believing thats what its like without ever actually seeing any toxicity.
Repeat over and over, now players deem group content as toxic without even trying or participating simply based off stories they read off the forums.
Now make an echo chamber where others reading the same stories can all tell each other that they are right and that everyone who does said content are elitests/toxic. All without experiecing said toxicity but simply believing its true becuase someone said it on the internet.
And we all know that its illegal to say untruthful things on the internet

It can be if someone takes it as constructive criticism.
Grizzles experience is his own. I’ve done a dungeon with him last expansion and he was a really good tank.
The toxicity people experience or perceive should be considered a given in the pug scene. If that’s an obstacle for someone who wants to succeed in whatever content they are doing, getting thicker skin will help a long way.
On behalf of all Healers…. “First time?”
Athena voice “Welcome… to OverWoW”. Lol exact same in Overwatch my friend. Literally same points brought up all over the game.
Sincerely,
Former WoW tank main and current Overwatch tank main
It’s funny you bring this up, I tank dps and heal and really I can’t say I have seen what you are talking about.
As someone that hits 3k io as tank healer and melee dps when I pug I find most groups we don’t talk at all.
Channel your inner Xerxes when tanking mplus pugs, it helps.
Don’t even look at meta paths, just do what you eventually find works. If someone throws a fit, you break their key in half and find another group in less than a minute.
Its the easiest role by a large margin… your version of a nightmare fight is that one boss in CoT that screams out ahead of time you have to kite it.
