Ruin "Gaming" and Nazjatar

I will give you the same advice every Horde player has given me when it comes to not being able to do WPvP content:

QQ moar, turn war mode off, gg ez.

How often do horde lag out your war mode experience with multiple raid groups?

Agree with Preencess on this one. Too long to quote in full but it’s definitely at a stage where limited amount of shards running the battle allow ruin to win almost all of them.

Again… Ruin isn’t doing anything wrong. The game designers and engineers have created a system which allows them to dominate an old BG so effectively that it’s almost impossible for horde to resist. That’s something I wish Blizzard would address in Shadowlands but I’m not holding my breath.

From a purely… emotional level? It’s a bit frustrating at times as it makes for terrible pvp. Ruin are pretty organized so I’d actually expect them to win most raid vs raid encounters. But knowing its going to be a Zerg 85% of the time just makes me avoid the Battles.

And I’ve listened to Ruin enough to know they’re… pretty smug about their tactics. Archaosrex will talk as if Ruin are the last bastion of alliance hope, as if they’re soldiers in some big fight but… eh… They’re a Zerg using server weaknesses to win. It’s like bragging 4 of you ganked a single player. I mean… okay? I guess? Go you.

I’d love to see them really active in wpvp out in the world, not just in Nazjatar which is pretty dead as far as content goes. They’re a cool guild! Nice people. Just… weirdly focused only on farming a semi-abandoned BG.

I disagree. Horde aren’t in it to win it. I understand that the rewards for Battle for Naz have been incredibly reduced to the point of near irrelevancy. (Its super easy to conquest cap without 50 conquest every 2-4 hours)

But when go into a phase of Battle for Nazjatar where RUIN isn’t present, there are 10+ players fighting on the road with another 10 AFKing in the base, with maybe only 5 or 6 actually capturing the points, is it really RUIN abusing sharding? Or is it the Horde have comepletely given up?

Horde still win plenty of shards. I know for I have been in those shards trying to hold off the horde, hoping we can hold off a 5 cap long enough for RUIN to come in an reinforce. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doens’t.

Horde if you want to win, as much as I hate to give advice to the enemy, 5 cap as soon as possible. The longer the battle continues you go the riskier it gets.

Don’t know how many times I see Horde fighting in Mez while holding only 2 or 3 flags. That is just asking for RUIN to find the phase and ruin your day.

Can you really complain about the tactics of others when you aren’t following the tactics you need to do to counter their tactics?

Organize against what? Unplayable lag? I highly doubt that throwing more people into the zone will make the game run better.

Put up or shut up. Stop making excuses.

“Horde aren’t in it to win it”, maybe it’s cause there’s an even amount of people on both sides, thus one side cannot capture all five points. Then of course Ruin comes in with 100+ people and camps the home base and plants 25 people on each base.

Archaos and friends had a really bad night wpvping tonight  So bad, they went and did the WF after getting killed repeatedly. It was glorious. They better get used to it.

Ruin has become a big bag boogy man for the horde. The lag monster under the bed, in the closet.

“OH MY GURD. ITS NOT BFN TIME BUT I HAVE LAG. IT MUST BE RUIN!!!”

And suddenly it’s clear, every Alliance player around them is a Ruin-member. Impossible to detect you say? NO!!! Just look at them! They are RUIN!
And they all logged on, joined a raid, at the same time, not to do the BFN! Oh, no they did it just to create lag!!!

“Why? Oh Why? Have they done this? TO ME!”

Why you ask dear horde poster? Because messing with your play time is their goal in life.

It’s always RUIN. Never your internet. Never Blizz’s servers. Never a coincidence of both HORDE and Alliance wanting to do CTA quests (in parties and not raids).

NOPE. ALWAYS RUIN!

I find it funny that they need overwhelming numbers to win BfN.

I did get a few chuckles out of the rhetoric on stream. They’re The Last Alliance PVP Group Standing! They’re doing it to give new alliance players access to…BFN? The small group of horde they’re fighting are sheep but the 5-9 groups of Ruin raids running BFN into the ground are all independent thinkers. Independent thinkers who just happen to need to discord to tell them how to run a 5 node map against a small group of pug horde.

We all died once all night in Naz. Nice save attempt though.

No, not always Ruin. Sometimes it was “Cryptids.” For the sake of my discussion, however, it’s definitely Ruin because they’re literally streaming what they’re doing. But it nice to think we’re incapable of reading a guild tag, too.

From now on when I start lagging in Nazjatar I’m just going to blame it on all the players in the zone and not blizzard’s subpar servers.

Oh I don’t debate that they’re doing it DURING THE BATTLE OF NAZJATAR, although they open the groups up to the public and 90%+ of the raid members are not in a RUIN guild so you claiming that you can identify its a ruin raid from that is bs.

Its idiots like this guy,

They are blaming Ruin, Raid groups, whatever for any lag they experience at any time while in Nazjatar. Nope. No other explanations.

Its beyond ridiculously stupid.

I started this because I was trying to do Naz Emissary while a raid group of alliance was just sitting in Newhome. I was nowhere close, there was no BfN going on, I didn’t even get killed once. And it was the entire area was lagging like crazy.

I realize it’s not the alliance purposefully lagging the server - it’s the sharding and how it works.
