i ledge in For Honor because it’s For Honor, not With Honor
i mean i also mained Demoman in TF2 so there’s probably a lot to glean from that forbidden knowledge too

This is literally “It’s okay when I do it!” the sentence.
Tbh, the drama is worth it if it’s between your rival guild.
like, just to further explore this:
-if you want to do this, don’t do it in a big city because it will disrupt people who AREN’T consenting to PvP. doing it in a big city regardless means you’re OK with/willing/happy to disrupt people who aren’t involved as we have seen in several threads lately.
-making it an event or something with some defenders A-side means there is actual effort put into making this A Real Event, + it proves you actually want real PvP instead of just swarming in with a raid group to kill AFK flagged people or w/e.
my main strategy in for honor is to play male jormungandr and distract the enemy across the map with my incredibly loud screams while spamming one move until whoever i’m fighting has no stamina, so i’m something of a for honor myself
i mean it’s a real PvP game and much more competitive, so whatever gets me that (pun half intended) edge baby
i admit i have no idea what any of this means because i went hard in the paint at launch and stopped before the first DLC wave, but the visual imagery is masterfully illustrated
when my new SSD gets in i’m probably going to reinstall it like i have every other fighting game i own
true, nothing beats stomping ur rivals AND watching them moan about it
back in my day…
YOUR MAJESTY, THE PALACE IS UNDER SIEGE. /complete sentence?
who threw this dead crab into the forums
FH is one of those games I wanted to love so bad, but I guess I’m just too old and slow to build the reflexes for that kind of gameplay now
I can’t even remember who I played, the spear viking maybe?
Yeah I will need to get it sometime I think. Right now I need to find people on the blue side that do BGs I’d like to get the Justicar title.
very good character, very loud
would definitely recommend reinstalling for honor because it’s always fun to go back and run through a few matches
oh neat i can post videos
I mean I loved playing Warden because it was really easy to bait people with the spin attack. I’m not sure why I stopped playing.
This is a tangent but has something changed where large groups of players strain the server more now than they used to?
Because on the subject of outdated PvP achievements I want the Orc killing title from WoD but instanced Ashran is way more laggy than I ever remember large PvP battles of yore ever being
I miss for honor because it fills a really particular niche in a sort of, still clearly a high energy video game but technical enough to be more than your usual hacky slashy ARPG. I played it for maybe a month around launch with buddies but my internet is raw swill and, quite simply, I don’t have the brain for fighters. I just can’t pause my “mash buttons” simple brain long enough to want to practice moves and combos enough to land them consistently against basic bots.
This has nothing to do with anything, I just wish I could stomach losing better.
Corruption, azerite traits, a thousand passives computing three times as often?
God that title is so sexy. Definitely a solid goal.
server architecture was pared down to run at absolutely necessary efficiency with very little give for unexpected stress. it’s been worse and worse over the course of BfA. Also yeah 1001 more calculations to make more player
This is literally the reason.
big Mortal Kombat 11 and Street Fighter 5 mood, execution is allowed to take a backseat for matchup knowledge and decision-making IMO
i cannot link anything for the life of me no matter how many hours i plug into training mode which sucks when you have a solid grasp of fundamentals but can’t optimize punishes/openings
i very briefly got back in a bit ago (nothing noteworthy) to try Lawbringer out, was mostly Warden/Kensei at the time - definitely want to try out Centurion, Black Prior, continue Lawbringer, continue Raider, and maybe dabble in Aramusha
It’s genuinely such a welcome, interesting gameplay with the basic idea of high/left/right rhythms and timings. Pacing stamina and poking, knowing when to go ham. There’s also some quiet intimacy to how when you lock onto a player everything hones in visually, as well as over the shoulder so it adds a tiny level of immersion. So any time I lost it was a real “damnit I should’ve had that”, which I still do get in other fighting games but nothing as dramatic.
good game 11/10 where’s my Warcraft version of For Honor, i’ll beat that dead horse until dawn
Such a good game
