I’m reading it over and over and can’t figure out what it means.
Bluewalling , also known as blue shielding or blueflagging , is the act of attacking someone who has their PvP flag up when yours is not up. It is considered by some as dishonorable due to the lack of fair chance to attack you before you approach. While not against any specific rules, it is up to the player to decide if they want to be “honorable” or have the upper hand.
like, if the intent ISN’T to be disruptive and annoying, the Horde group can attack anywhere that isn’t a main Alliance city. you can even get Legion of the Dawn or some other A-side guilds to defend it.
but if the only goal is to attack Stormwind, and there’s no attempt to connect with a defending team, it becomes really clear what the actual intention is.
blueflagging used to be a shameful/mockworthy thing because as said above, it was a way someone could remain 100% safe from you until they had backup or buffed up or w/e, then they could attack you at their leisure because you couldn’t attack them until they flagged.
Same. Killed them waaaaaaay back in BC, never really thought to kill the Horde/Alliance leaders since. I might have some, but…never really think about killing faction leaders anymore.
tbh most of the people who have been invading SW as of late aren’t people I’d ever want to seriously RP with. They seem like absolute chores who just want to go on power trips instead of telling a collaborative story.
