I don’t know anything about this, was this one of those times when off server people and multiboxers? You’ll have to explain the context.

some super huge and disruptive city raid that was “just for the achievement” decided to hang out for… 2 hours allegedly? in a bunch of places where Anduin was nowhere to be found for the achievement

guest-starring a bunch of stuff to help them be disruptive besides just… gameplay

how do you do this

how do you get me every time

This has to do with multiboxing and off server people how? As far as I am aware the raid was entirely comprised of people from WRA.

I heard there was a counter raid that was of off-realmers

it doesn’t, re-read my post - which would also help answer/explain:

yeah and a good look is having a WrA Hordeside GM in the Cathedral (again, nowhere near their achievement goal) and a whole procession to witness him yelling about “the server is ours”

you’re right sorry this is the shallow chest-thumping “smack talk” community and the kind of players i want on Wyrmrest, my bad i’ll back out

I’m not talking about tournaments. I’m talking about actual, real, intent-to-kill Horde vs. Horde combat.

If we’re acknowledging BfA’s faction war, we also have to acknowledge the armistice at the end. We also have to acknowledge that someone wearing a tabard of a Horde organization running around yelling “in the name of the Horde” is probably bad optics, considering the armistice is all of twenty minutes old. Then we have to acknowledge that there is probably some faction of the Horde that takes an interest in preventing these bad optics from ocurring, especially since these operations to go beat up Alliance are in no way secret.

If you’re not going to acknowledge BfA, more power to you, but then you need to say so and explicitly lay out what we are and are not acknowledging so that everyone is on the same page.

If you take questions on the logical consistency of the story surrounding your event as an attack on the activity itself, I can’t help you.

So previous raid aside and sorry to be a gatekeeper, but things like this being marked for RP-PvP is just lame because for all intents and purposes, it’s just PvP. Nothing in his OP is really reading as RP-PvP, it’s just saying, ‘calling all Horde that want to kill Alliance, come join this group as we raid random Alliance members.’

Idk, there’s just nothing really to build off of from this post and it feels too lazy to count as RP-PvP. Yeah, I’m gatekeeping. :woman_shrugging:

Not story association, no consequences, no RPers talkin’ RP smack talk or buzzing about the event. Just, lets kill Alliance.

Dont forget that large collection of people spamming toys, aoes, and banners

If Blizzard doesn’t care about the logical consistency surrounding their own story in regards to the faction war, mainly that we go to war over seemingly little to no reason in things that could be resolved in a sit down. Why should their playerbase?

i like that we’ve come around to Scrabber’s argument as to why dark skinned blood elves shouldn’t be a thing, but for RP PvP

So actually now seems like a good time to ask - I play a Blood Knight, right? And 90% of our recent, pre-BfA rep has been the token faction that works w/ draenei under Liadrin for good justice stuff.

While obviously individual characters might hate the Alliance (blood elves often do I have noticed), I’m curious how Blood Knight players would justify being an overt anti-Alliance warmonger. Like, even if Karithien probably holds some grudges (he is a warcraft elf, after all), the organization overwhelmingly seems to favor working for the greater good in recent storylines.

I’d hope the RP community has an even passing desire to wrote stories that aim slightly higher than the bar set by Activision “We dont feel like addressing it” Blizzard

I like how this has nothing to do with this conversation but you’re bringing it up anyway in order to further poison the well.

I mean this is why the factions being about the races would have been better than Horde and Alliance.

go argue about logic and consistency elsewhere when “throw away/ignore faction tensions to team up and war against the big bad” has existed as a concept in the Warcraft IP since 2002

I don’t see anything wrong with that picture. If they hung around for hours that is definitely annoying but it doesn’t look like any targeted harassment, no offensive language or slurs appear in the chat. Some of the posts even appear as if they are IC. Its kinda a PVP happened thing.
