There actually are a lot if fire mage/healer in 2s once you get above 2k
Rogues were born a 1v1 class, and they’ll stay that way. The vast majority of you are complaining about losing to a rogue 1v1. If you’ve played this games any considerable amount of time, you know classes are balanced around 3s. And if you think a rogue who pops evasion, cloak, blind, and sprint in a 1v1 was the winner, you’re wrong. You literally made that rogue worthless for the next 2 minutes. They can either sit in stealth or pop and die in a stun.
but they have that option, a rogue can burn their cds and then vanish to reset and wait, nobody else really has that option.
as far as 3v3s are concerned this is the bg forum, not the arena forum. 1v1 also comes into play in dueling and in warmode. rogues could do with some serious nerfs for those areas, even with a nerf they will still be good in arena.
Assasin Rogues and Fire Mages need the neutering treatment.
That choice they have has been in the game from Vanilla to BfA. It’s not going anywhere. And I’m not sure what you’re trying to say…the game is balanced around 3s for PvP. I could say it in a raiding forum and it would still be true. Seems like you’re basically saying “yeah but they should balance around war mode and duels instead.” Balancing around those will not make them competitive in arena.
im aware, my main before DK was rogue. and i could argue all day that balancing around 3v3 is a bad idea but thats not the topic of this thread.
rogues still need nerfs though, they were find last expac but now all of a sudden we are almost back to bc like 100-0 stunlocks. and if it isn’t 100-0 its 100-20 and you aren’t going to come back from that anyway.
Maybe for you i do just fine (; sure their surv might be weak but their dmg isnt if you know how to play . But that goes for anyone on a team . Most the time its 4v1 in bgs and sometimes your healers are either amazing or they suck. Reguardless its a teamwork thing . Any class /spec can play amazing when the team communicates and works well together.
They do not . Learn when to break the stuns at the right time . I get that we are all human and sometimes make mistakes and break a stun too early but most the time its not that bad tbh . They just outplayed you .
Hey your the one complaining about rogues nonstop over here and im just saying it seems like you dont from all complaining you do .
Because not alot of people care to do rated ? I wish you guys would stop trying to present how many by a small % that play rated . Rated % played of a class means 0 to the whole playerbase of casuals as in not saying rated doesnt matter just saying most of the playerbase doesnt participate in them . Were not talking rated here , normal bgs that everyone plays .
i like how the entire DK community is in agreeance about our viability in pvp atm, but not you, you’re special, you do what no other dk can do apparently.
The “entire” community sure a very small % that go on forums or reddit
I also dont sit here and make excuses i play to get better . Sitting around crying on forums /reddit gets us nowhere these days .
thats a pretty wild excuse, let me guess, some light from venus reflected off some swamp gas from a swamp full of gay frogs and thats why dks have less than 1% representation.
it couldn’t be that they are horribly weak in pvp atm, no, can’t be that.
big fat /s
I seem to have struck a nerve sorry about that /pat /hug
aww, thanks for the /hug, here, i baked you some cake
Are we talking all pvp or just Bgs or…? Locks have very little rep in rated pvp as well but damn can they murder in Bgs (at times)
All I have left to say is this:
If your class is weak right now, that sucks. And I hope devs to some work getting you up to par. But blaming other classes isn’t the answer, whether it’s an absence of skill or class potential holding you back.
I loveee cake /super hugs tyty
IMO fire is more in need of rework than neutering. Others on this board have suggested them turning fire into the hyper-mobility spec, trading away GPyro and some burstiness in favor of being hard to keep pinned down/controlled. That could be interesting, given that the only caster that plays anything like that currently is moonkin druid.
Your definition of “fine” is probably being able to top damage. I can do that on my UHDK. I can do that on any tab target dot spreading class.
My definition of “fine” is being a strong and consistent 1v1 or small group fight class. UHDK is not that.
