About point 2. Keep in mind that flying will be reached for most ppl before before next week or very shortly after.
So mob density, the water strider mount equipment mandatory, and crossroad curving and massive terrain gab wont really be any issue

Now that I’ve seen essences on 3 - 4 of my toons I am disappointed in them. I thought they were more along the lines of Legion weapons with unique skils for each class/spec but they’re basically Azerite traits and generic ones at that.
Bodyguards
Building mounts and stuff
Puzzle WQ’s like Lucid Nightmare
Essences
For years I coundn’t understand the hatred for Gnomes.
Now I see.
“IF YOU ARE ALLIANCE”-
I am sorry, but I do not like the new zones very much. Nazjatar is a complete mess. The zone is like a maze and some of the roads are filled with mobs. Then there is the time-gating part of the story quest and dailies that makes the zone last for 1 hour. Mechagon is pretty much the same way, except you can actually get part to build more things, so it is a little better then Nazjatar. If Blizzard would just release the content fully and not lock it away behind time-gating. Then it would probably be better.
The guardian that you get are useless, their damage and health are horrible. I did this one story line quest and my guardian died 5 times. They are very weak in every department and the only way to upgrade them is to do dailies, which are time-gated.
The grind in the game is non-existent and boring. You have some rares that might pop up, might get to, or not so up at all. The grind for the pearls are only when you get the quests and some rares. Then the grind ends. Timeless Isles in MOP was way better at grinds, and so was Ice Crown.
The Azerite new system is still not my fancy. I never liked the Azerite Armor, nor do I like the Heart of Azeroth system. The abilities fit the same for all classes. Then there is only one way to get more abilities and that is the grind, some mobs to kill, or something. I really do not know how to get the abilities for the Heart of Azeroth. I also do not like the grind for the Azerite, never did. That is the reason why I did not focus on that grind. It is really boring.
Classes are still the same. I know Blizzard said they will fix them in 9.0, which will most likely be the next expansion. That is a bummer, since many people talked about this in the Alpha, Beta, and when BFA came out.
new boring content to grind woop dee doo dah day. Why dont you work on fixing your trashy classes instead of making us grind more. Looking at disc
I do not use Warmode. The factions are unbalanced. You have more Horde in one realm or more Alliance. Then if you are fighting off 1 mob, your health becomes low and then you become a easy target for the other faction. Yea, not turning Warmode on unless I am backed by a raid. The only problem is that the Horde is the only ones that I have seen raiding the Alliance.
Also I have seen the Horde use the elite guards as a cover in Stormsong. Another reason why I do not use Warmode.
What is wrong with disc? I know the healing and shielding is not there, but what else is wrong with it?
You just answered your own question.
Day 2
More progress in Nazjatar, starting to get a handle for some of the mechanics and remembering where a few important locations are. Took a wrong turn into a Horde base (not uncommon while exploring a modern zone and no lives were lost but always leaves me a bit grumpy). Jellies … jellies … jellies … (rocks back and forth reminding myself it’s over now)
Felt like a little less progress in Mechagon but I like how I’m learning a few little things just by watching out for odd behaviour by players around me. Almost ruined a Horde player’s armored chest walk by jumping in to “help” and drawing aggro, but eventually realized what they were trying to do and backed off. Got the OOX pet by accident which was nice (haven’t really gone looking through the inventory of new pets)
Avoided hitting my head on the quest cap today. Bag space is becoming a pressing issue - did some culling, can still see a couple of slots that could be freed up but will likely have to do a major offload of anything that can be stored on a less-active character at some point.
Put a couple of alts through the intro scenario … a plan is starting to form on how to budget my alt time. Ruthless choices will need to be made.
Did the scenario to rescue Baine. As someone not really into the faction war side of Warcraft, the scene overlooking Thunder Bluff was really poignant. I don’t know where the game is going, but I feel comfortable that the writers and devs are aware of diversity of players they have to make the game for.
Successfully laid siege to Hellfire Citadel and finally saw the finale for WoD. (I play a wee bit behind the curve, but I was here).
No client problems. No population problems. Water strider is getting a good workout.
Slowly, oh so slowly, progressing Chachi through Naz (and finally going to Gnome central because I wanted the 12 battle pets, and didn’t want to put it off any longer since the second reputation toward Pathfinder kind of needed to be done concurrently).
I was surprised at how difficult some of the Battle Pet master encounters were. It hurts to miss a daily because I haven’t had time to pound my head against one of these until I crack the code (this happened day one when I got tired of trial and error on Wiggletail or whatever the snake man with a trident is named). I’ll probably wait until a proper guide for the Battle Pet masters in Naz has been released and I have time to add the encounters to Rematch.
I was disappointed by the “BUG” that turned the quest reward weapon into a useless iLevel 370 item. I understand that bugs will sneak through in a patch the size of 8.2, but I think Blizzard dropped the ball on this one.
I resubbed so I could play the Classic stress test then I decided to take a look at 8.2 since I haven’t played since the BfA grind burned me out after a month or two.
Nazjatar is a beautiful place but I’m not a fan of the zone scaling. If I wasn’t on my hunter I’m afraid I’d be making many a corpse run.
Mechagon didn’t impress me on the first day but I’ve warmed up to it after my adventures today. The anti-gravity pack is amazing. I was able to fly around and look for rares and local daily quests. There are some fun quests. I kind of like the randomness of Mechagon.
I’ll continue to run the content so I can get the flying meta achievement and then I’ll play Classic.
I think that this game is dead and bleeding subs for a number of reasons:
Sharding/Layering. The game does not feel like an MMORPG, just an RPG. Layering ruins community and large scale events which made the game fun in previous expansions.
Horrendous class design and pruning: The title says it all. Too much excessive pruning ruined the game. I feel like god, I can pull infinite mobs and just faceroll.
A toddler could write a better story.
Please take notes on why classic is so successful and implement into retail
So your gripe is that they fought other players who were also in warmode?
8.1 was immensely alt friendly. you didn’t have to run around doing WQ for hours in order to get gear, and then have to run around for even longer to upgrade said gear. 8.2 is the most unfriendly the game has been for alts in a long while.
Only after the changes. I was trying to run an ALT in the beginning and I had to pick one or the other because I put somewhere around 50 hours into grinding out my honor bound rep and trying to work on champions of azeroth. Not to mention you needed a set of gear for every spec you had. Also the AP grind. yes it counted for all three suspects but the grind was extremely slow and most people were out leveling their gear and had tier gear that they couldn’t use any of the traits.
These were not supercasuals that we’re running into the problem either it was higher end raiders. Guess what you had to do to be able to use those traits farm AP. Don’t try and pass it off that you had tons of time to do all of those things on your main and your Alt.
I am still on Legion. I will not be buying BfA until flying is added. Look at Pathfinder. All that time and effort for no reward?

Honestly not far at all. I like the art and some quest of Nazatar. They are fun and intresting. Still, there are too many mobs in some areas. Scaling tough and reminds of the past. So extra points there.
I tried Mechagon and that one going to be tough for me. It very bland and does not motivate me. The story so far is just bad.
Sense, I do not have many friends and none I do things with. I am left with questing and leveling. So that might obscure my thoughts a little. Not good with internet convo.
Art is good. I like the updated Nagas. The grind though for rep…Just cant wrap my head around. Its too much, it actually takes away from the game for me. You give us flying mounts then give us a mountain to climb over before we can use them. Three expansions in a row. 3 times I rather un-sub then climb your mountain. I think the story mode/gating has become tedious. I love wow but this may have finally done it for me. I just want to play a game I have spent thousand dollars to play without jumping through another freaking hurdle to gain an ability I have already gained over and over and over.
It’s exciting to have a new patch, and new content but… feels meh?
Started with Naz. Did all the quests, world quests, rare’s died too fast to get to them, World Quests were 1/2 fun, 1/2 tedious, buggy, and frustrating. Mobs feel overtuned? Maybe just something to get used to?
Feels like more of the same. Felt like I was just doing chores. I enjoyed the first bit where you have some storyline then it’s just welp, go…do… random quests? And grindgrind ginrd.
Mechagon is cool but got boring after… 2 hours? There’s not much left for me to do until the dungeon is out and then idk what else to do outside the dungeon.
Experience with new patch?
Despise the essence acquisition system.
Basically, everything I disliked about BFA is still there with another system on top of it that I also dislike.
