There better be instruction books though because I’m not exactly a Lego Master Builder or anything…
There will be, but unfortunately they’re written in some incomprehensible language.

I like you.
systemlands is going to be great for ffxiv so many people will be heading to a game with devs who hear what the community wants…
So you are saying that players want a store full of mico-transactions? Blizz can help you with that if you ask loud enough.
I agree I haven’t been following the expansion much outside of hearing what a mess covenants are. I was not looking forward to them at all.
The one time the balance team actually wants to try their job they find out it’s too hard and give up.
I don’t think they have the 16m Raidbots subscription.
A video game is it’s systems. Without systems it’s just a book. You can’t even walk without systems.
That’ll get you every time.
yeah but extending that logic to “more systems = better game” is goofy
Are you trying to break down the game to the mere game atoms that are within? Building blocks of life? Idk how long you have been playing this game but believe it or not, there was one system. Gear. Gear was the system. And the other systems within the world were things to work towards getting, like netherdrakes in BC. That was the systems and the game was amazing.
Not what it is now. What it is now is a shame.
More systems actually is better, the issue is the type of systems put in place.
You’re being disenguous if you’re comparing walking to covenants. Come on.
If covenants were like walking, you’d have to choose 4 paths that your character was railroaded onto, some random specs would run 50% faster, some would go slow they’d go backwards. Some would be stuck walking blindly in the dark. And Blizz would randomly adjust the walking speed or wether your path went uphill and downhill, and if you chose a different path you’d have to crawl for a month straight to catch up to people ahead of you on the trail.
It costs 1200 dollars to rent the 30th fastest super computer for an hour.
Should we start a gofundme?
KISS.
Keep It Simple, Stupid. You do not have to reinvent the wheel to make a car roll.
So you rather just play pong? It’s pretty simple.
Of course. Blizzard is a small indie dev, they need all the help they can get.
You do not have to reinvent the wheel to make a car roll.
If they don’t add new systems and abilities every x-pack I (and I assume others) will get bored super quick.
I require novelty and change.
I would rather play pong that systemsland, yes. 100%
Then we should probably start a fansonly, too.
When the game was at its peak, there was one system. Gear. That seemed to do really well.
