The ripcord movement I was behind just wanted everything the same, just not to have it linked to the covenants.

This seems just like a sad price everyone now has to pay because they where too stubburn and are now too embarrised to admit they defended the wrong hill.

Sadly most of the players just raid logged during WoD im sure thats one of the main reasons for stuff like covens and conduits existing in the first place.

There’s nothing wrong with going back to just class design!

We don’t need covenants. Soulbinds. Heck, we don’t even need legendaries. We don’t need gimmicks. Give us fun, solid classes. Maybe buff certain legendaries to give raiders an extra carrot later, nowhere near the power creep of Legion’s. More like Vanilla’s Thunderfury max. Tadaa, game is good again.

This isn’t my first character, genius. I raided from ZG in Vanilla to mythic BRF in WoD. Over a decade. I quit in mythic EN when the raiding scene turned poopy.

No idea what conduits are but I’m happy learning about them when I dive into SL. Also, I think I’ll be better off only ever knowing what live brings me.

That video isn’t even about conduit nerfs.

Nerfing potency conduit slots from 3 to 2 is not really a nerf to Covenants either, it’s more a nerf to conduit swapping requirements, to make conduit swapping easier, not less mandatory.

Unless you loved Essences in patch 8.2. Then you might love Conduits.

For example, reducing Blood Bond from 5% to 2% and it’s max rank from 15% to 4.8%, isn’t a nerf. 60% reduction… isn’t a nerf.

It’s just a grind, and a regrind, and a regrind. Acquire, acquire higher ranks, grind currency for a RNG chance at upgrading them, etc… etc…
