Because you got baited by OP and I wanted to help you calm down. Guess that’s a lesson I gotta learn : the mob just wants to be angry, they don’t want proper information.
No, since the original model is 100% intact on Beta right now and will ship as is.
Yeah, only been playing this game for 16 years. Too bad for you these “systems” are something they started with Legion, not 16 years ago. There’s a reason people want to go back to “gear acquisition” as the only end game “progression system”, because it was more fun than what Legion/BfA brought with their “paragon grinds”.
All this talk of ‘world of systemcraft’ i think, least on my opinion is that people don’t want freaking time-gates in their game that they have to work on every week in order to stay relevant, which in turn means that any alts they want to play are irelevant because they havn’t had as much time to do the weeklys needed to stay relevant.
Wasn’t my entire point that people shouldn’t make comments based on emotions? Here you are claiming that I’m doing that same thing. Well, gosh, I guess I learned something, and that you can’t follow a conversation. Oh wait, I already said that a few times.
Again, wasn’t my point, though at this point I’m not surprised you’d respond with that. I don’t think you understand what a general, hypothetical point is. Here, have a pretty emoji.
Actually, systems have been in place since Vanilla. Gearing methods and methods of gaining power have dramatically shifted over the years and from expansion to expansion, starting with Vanilla.
I hate all the systems not because of time gating, but because every single one requires some sort of grind and each one takes time so if you only play a couple of hours a day you are left with very little time to play the game you actually pay blizzard for. I am not overwild about the level of complexity of a lot of the systems in Shadowlands either. I don’t think I should need to do research on the internet in order to figure them out.
I don’t remember the paragon grind in Vanilla. Refresh my memory ?
Vanilla to WoD -> Get gear, raid.
Legion / BfA -> Get gear. Don’t forget AP. Oh your legendaries. Neck level must be higher to equip this armor piece so it’s an upgrade. Essences. Netherlight Crucible, sorry that relic didn’t proc proper traits, try again. Corruption. Ok fine have a vendor but grind echoes.
Sure there were. But none of them mattered to get into Raids.
I never bothered getting a wintersaber myself and never got the attraction to Bloodsail buccaneers.
I mean, feel free to refresh my memory about the paragon power grinds in vanilla. I’m drawing a blank here. Pretty sure it went ding 60 -> get gear -> raid.
Well, you finally answered a question, you were wrong but you tried, so nice work.
No, Vanilla went like this. Ding, start grinding dungeons, start maxing professions, eventually start raiding/PvP/Crafting. And, in order to continue to raid, you needed to continue to produce consumable items, that were generally either farmed via hours of farming or farmed in dungeons or raids.
So, the older system was actually a lot like the current system, it just had a different veneer.
Well, it was fun educating you, have a nice day ralmirl.
If you have any more questions, please respond to this post, I’ll be happy to help you out. You seem very confused, so I almost feel obligated.
Did you actually make any valid points when all of them were made in bad faith? When you intentionally misconstrued any argument I’d made? When you intentionally ignored my opinions and posts, just so that you could try to nudge the conversation in a different direction?
Clearly just a “me” problem, yup. That’s why the legendary currency was invented. That’s why Legendary RNG was essentially removed and a vendor added. That’s why the AP grind was essentially eliminated after Nighthold.
Blizzard did it just for me. Wow, I never knew they cared.
Yes, that the OP baited you and nothing was nerfed 70-90%. The system is intact and will ship intact, you can stop being angry, you’ll get to experience it in all of its glory same as the beta testers have.
