WHAT?!?!?! Bernie Sanders and many other Democrat Senators are admitted Socialists. You are out of your mind and spreading lies.

The Democratic party campaigned harder against Sanders than they ever have against any Republican. Proof positive that they arenā€™t socialist right there. And Bernie isnā€™t even a real socialist! He would be considered a centrist in most European countries!

Bernie will never have a chance in a general because his head is too far in the clouds.

People like AOC and Bernie are exceptions in the party, and everything they do is stonewalled by establishment Democrats.

You need to pay more attention to whats actually happening in The Democratic party, and stop listening to what Fox is telling you is happening.

Fact checkā€¦org is a George Soros front group, bought a paid for. Their name is anything but facts. They are in colaboration with Facebook who is owned and ran by liberal and who has given money to the Democrat party.

Media Matters is the same thing.

Iā€™m pretty mixed on this. I mean it sucks that she died but itā€™s just another pro-corporate justice gone that will get replaced by another pro-corporate justice lol.

This is September. Less than two months until the upcoming election.

Obama nominated his Supreme Court replacement in March. More than 7 months before the 2016 election.

This as well.

But because America has been molded to never let go of its two party system, people like Bernie could never viably run on a 3rd party platform.

Heā€™s forced under The Democrats wings, much to his annoyance and The Democrats disdain.

Nah, I disagree. Hereā€™s why Bernie failed in my mind:

  • He is boring. He only talks about the three things. America likes novelty, like a reality TV guy or a really handsome guy like Obama with charisma. America is never going to elect a boring old guy again. Thatā€™s why Biden has a chance - his weird rambling about leg hair and Corn Pop is endearing.

  • He is strategically bad at politics. His campaign was kind of bad, prioritizing young people, who donā€™t vote. Whoops.

  • He lacks charisma. If you donā€™t pay attention to politics, he comes off like some weird grandpa yelling at you. That doesnā€™t play well in the McDonalds/Disney country

Bernieā€™s platform polls far higher than he ever did. If you tacked Bernieā€™s politics onto Obamaā€™s body, it would have been a landslide.

Who spent his honeymoon in MOSCOW and backs only Democrat Candidates.

You realize that counties have verbatim copied the US constitution in the past and did not magically fix their country. Telling people that is not at all un-American. Its just being informed about international politics.

Bernie backs Democrats, because he and socialist like him know that America is too centered and right adjacent to ever embrace socialist policies.

Democrats are the only viable path he has forward to make these policies more mainstream and challenge the Conservative Propaganda that has turned people against them for the last 40 years.

Iā€™m experiencing a kind of dystopian dissociative episode at the moment. Before next summer, McConnel and crew will Rama new SCJ through, and it wonā€™t be with bipartisan support, itā€™ll be a party line vote on a 35 old MAGA cultist. This will enrage the centrists, all but assuring Bidenā€™s victory and losing the senate - at which point weā€™ll be jumping the number of SCJs to 15-21, enough that itā€™s mathematically improbably it could flip significantly again. And again, it wonā€™t be career judicial figures with a measured approach to interpretation, itā€™ll be 35 year old hardline zealots passed on the party line, again, and a few (now filibuster proof) rule changes scorch earth ever repairing it again.

Every year since Reagan, the executive entrance had grown more and more powerful, and now weā€™re on the verge of toppling the judiciary, and itā€™ll be met with equal parts raucous applause partisan disdain, effectively sealing it in inaction. 10 years later, itā€™ll look like the norm, and as a country, weā€™ll be worse for it.

The US is falling. Gonna have to move soon. Who needs doctors and architects?

And when they do agree on things, itā€™s typically bad news for the average person.
