RIP Ruth Bader Ginsburg

She was an inspiration for women and a bastion of freedom and justice. Dark times are ahead of us friends.

She should have retired during the Obama administration, so they could have replaced her with a more suitable candidate who would have upheld her policies.

But she wanted to wait for a Hilary presidency, and now everything she spent her life upholding is at risk for that very poor political move.

It’s sad that when I heard the news my mind immediately went to @&$#ing mcconnel. If there ever was a lizard person living among us

He has said outright several times this is exactly what he would do.

Her death likely means the end of human rights, especially women, in the U.S. for the next 30 years.

He already released a statement saying he is going to do exactly that. It didn’t even take an hour.

I know it is her wish for her to be replaced by someone of a similar sense, but she should’ve decided to bow out when someone that would’ve been receptive to that wish was in the oval office.

I’m sure we’ll see her in the Shadowlands.

Exactly. I admire and respect the woman for everything she did. But her choice to remain in office is one of the biggest political blunders I have ever seen.

To those who aren’t informed on this topic, Supreme Court Justices are a FOR LIFE position. You serve till death or retirement.

And Trump now gets to point whoever he wants to the court. Right. Before. Election.

Hilary must be feeling sick.

If she had won, she would have picked 3 justices. What a disaster she was.

Why didn’t she retire in 2014? I know why - because she was a prideful idiot. End of discussion, back to complaining about covenants.

The Senate GOP leader already has said they will vote on a replacement. Even though he denied Obama’s nominee a vote in the last few months of 2016.

He is despicable, totally political but he knows how to get his party’s goals accomplished…

My political views differed from hers, but I respected her greatly. She was a powerful woman, and one to be deeply respected. May she rest in peace.

Who is that?

And unfortunately, Democrats never want to contest or play dirty back. And this is why they keep losing.

I really doubt that.
