Everyone is paying for it - which they already are - but people are also not paying a premium for private insurance. Those who can already afford it will pay less overall. This has been demonstrated and that’s how it works.
Maybe if we take a small chunk of the military budget - like 2% - you could basically pay for it without even raising taxes at all.
Nobody right now receives utterly free healthcare. Insurance premiums, for example, are quite pricy.
And again, removing the useless middleman that soaks up billions and billions would mean far more money can be saved.
Well you didn’t read what I wrote so I don’t have any plans to do the same. I think this is the end of this particular offshoot conversation. Bye friend.
You asked him what he had to do and how long he had to wait. What he complained about wasn’t fatal until they found a problem, and his complaints that the antibiotics didn’t agree with him were far from fatal and he was still seen quickly.
He answered everything you asked him. Where do you get this, “takes weeks to get care” nonsense? Even during the height of the pandemic I got a free covid test the next day.
Should a new judge be appointed now, or after the election?
In every situation where a judge has died, been removed, resigned, or otherwise wasn’t a SCJ - they were replaced immediately. Can anyone give reason for why that trend shouldn’t continue?
Correct - it was a supid decision on her part. You seem to think that people on the left blindly defend anyone on the left, or that people on the left particularly like her.
I personally hate her and can’t wait until she steps down.
Can you cite a page number where they get to CNN, if you have it on hand?
I am interested in reading it, but 63 pages is a lot to read through for a conversation on the WoW general discussion forums.
If you do this, thanks, I’ll look into it tomorrow. It’s approaching 3 AM at my house and I just had surgery a few days ago so I need to sleep, don’t want it to seem like I’m dipping out tho
Either he or you, or both weren’t following that side conversation very well then.
I was pretty specific - not immediately life threatening. Appendicitus can kill you in mere hours. That’s immediately life threatening. This will be my last response on this topic.
New York City is 8 Billion Dollars in debt and is now looking for a national government bail out. This is an irrefutable fact. What good does it do to say this? It’s not going to change you pushing for what you want nor is it going to stop me from pushing for what I want. The difference I don’t want to force you to support my agenda. I want my agenda to stand on it’s own in a community that supports it. I want you to have that same freedom. Right now with the national government model it’s my view against yours and whomever wins forces the other to support it. That’s not a healthy system. It leads to the lack of bi-partisan politics and devisiveness we are in today. Maybe you think your was is unassailable and you fight the righteous fight but I guarantee there are as many on the other side who feel the same way. We have to find a better way. We have to accept we aren’t going to agree and we need to allow each other the space and freedom to organize around what we hold most important.
Right, why not health care? The Republicans seem to not want to. And that cash comes from taxes - among other things - which can instead be allocated to health care for all, which, again, has been shown to be cheaper than the current system.
So people would no longer have to pay expensive premiums and would pay less in taxes - so they’d save money - and the many who can’t afford to pay for health care can get the care they need.
