Yeah, Iâm friends with quite a few Democrats and itâs really crazy because weâre not as different as the media portrays. We have disagreements on a lot of things, but that is mainly the gun issues and economic policies.
Very few on the Right actually support racism and homophobia. Very few on the left support blocking peopleâs speech and burning cities. Itâs just the polar extremes of each party have garnered ALL of the mediaâs attention lately so it really looks like we are falling apart.

As we should. But the more I read and look and talk to people, we seem more content to blame others than fix the glaring problems in our own culture.

If the right was so deadly why are they not out destroying the country like the left is?

The main difference being that one of the polar extremes is in the White House.
Thereâs a big difference between wacko stuff from some protestor on the street, versus wacko stuff from a senior advisor in the oval office.
Iâm capable of carrying on argument thatâs not framed in religious ideals. And Iâm capable of admitting fault and being wrong.
And Iâm also old enough to know that every Republican President is framed as the next Hit***, and that every Democrat President ushers in a Golden Age. And it all kinda stays the same.
I do joke, but the mediaâs focus on the extremes of each side has been blown out of proportion and made to see each side is insane when the average American agrees on quite a lot.
Well most of that can be laid at the mediaâs door. They should be impartial and report the new but too often they create stories to fit the liberal narrative.

Again, they have. Right now the issue is overwhelmingly a left issue - which is why theyâre protesting - and the right are counter-protesting. But you do realize that abortion clinics (and planned parenthood clinics, which arenât just abortion) were bombed and burned down by right wing extremists right?

Yes I am. We have way too many leaders in these departments who care more about power and control than our country.

Depends who you ask to be honest. I really wouldnât say the extreme right has inherited the White House when very few radical ideas have been implemented at all. A lot of it is fear-mongering.
I agree. I disagree with many decisions from the oval office, but I wouldnât say there is a âbig differenceâ. When a violent crowd garners support on the streets, it does make a big difference. Many people have been killed and lost their livelihoods because of âsome protester on the streetâ.

The media has multiple organizations strictly interested in one political narrative, leaning both ways. Saying this about the, âliberal narrativeâ while ignoring the conservative narrative that Fox News and good lord OANN so strongly push - and the right believes. The president himself watches it daily - and a lot. Itâs terrifying.
