Bold of you to assume I still have one
Bruh she’s an assassin, she aint gonna kidnap some owl as proof lol.
So hypothetically speaking if she does pull of this massive feat, then what? She is gifted a citizenship?
Why do you care so much? She’s a junk character; let her rot.
I mean…Maybe I just want Tyrande’s owl…
Pretty much, like hey you’ve proved your worth and because of that you’re in once you swear this blood oath to the Horde and can help out or be sent on missions, this isn’t a guarantee everyone will approve but, they will hear about what you’ve done.
Some may forever be skeptical or deny you’ve truly aligned with them, while others will say something along the lines of “I’m so happy you’ve finally decided to join your people”
I have a feeling a character like Valeera may do the blood oath to the Horde, but just break it off should she choose or something more important comes up in her eyes, like anduin asking her to come back.
What’s a blood oath and why is it so important? And why do you feel she’d do it? Just curious.
The Blood Oath used to be a thing for the Horde, but I’m pretty sure Blizzard abandoned that tradition after Garrosh:
Lok’tar ogar! Victory or death - it is these words that bind me to the Horde. For they are the most sacred and fundamental of truths to any warrior of the Horde.
I give my flesh and blood freely to the Warchief. I am the instrument of my Warchief’s desire. I am a weapon of my Warchief’s command.
From this moment until the end of days I live and die - For the Horde!

There’s no indication that the Blood Oath is no longer a thing, but likely the words to it have changed.
Personally, I like the idea of citizens giving something like a Blood Oath / some ceremonial ‘joining of the Horde’ as something that is done in the Horde instead of paperwork or citizenship application forms or the like. It fits in with a certain flavor of the Horde, with oaths and honor and blood and thunder.
Edit:
To add right after I posted: Generally Blizzard has shown to be in the habit of setting things up one time, then assuming they get done off screen or the like from then on. Something something narrative efficiency or something.
So I know this is rather obvious already but for those who don’t know I’m just going to say it:
Ummm…Valeera is not, and never will be, a Horde character.
Please cease the entertaining of such absurd notions.
Interesting. Speaking of Blood Oath. Did the Void Elves do this too? They broke the Blood Oath by joining Alliance?
I hope this is true. The concept of the Blood Oath is just as iconic to the Horde’s themes as having a Warchief and shouthing “Lok’tar Ogar!”
I personally like to think so. Gives me more motivation if/when I ever get around to leveling my B.Elf Mage for the Heritage set and RP him like an Imperial Inquisitor from WH40K - viewing the Void Elves as traitors and heretics that must be purged on sight.
The ‘Blood Oath’ has literally been &^%$# on by this expansion. Along with the concepts of honour and loyalty it has been thrown in the trashcan. It has no meaning in a horde without a warchief.
Remember, some of these posters also think Calia is clearly a Forsaken (read: Horde) character as well. So, it may not be as obvious to some.
Then they shall be made to learn.
Yeah I was never fan of his name, it’s like naming big Nelf character “T’riee Hugga” , “Rasta King” looked very unimaginative name, but his character turned to be so great that it no longer was an issue.
He was deffinietly wasted.
Absolutely agreed.
Ok, so for people who don’t know:
-There is a difference between being undead and being Forsaken.
-There is also a difference between being Forsaken and being Horde.
-There is a difference between being Blood Elf and being Horde.
Have I covered all the relevant bases?
Explanation please. From my vantage point the Forsaken have gladly taken every opportunity to indulge in the Horde’s most atrocious characteristics. Creating the blight, corrupting the druids in Ashenvale and the forests heart, the war of thorns, Gilneas, and a whole host of other crap. I’m trying to find the where the horde ends and they begin but I’m not having any success.
I, and i am pretty sure most other people, hate Nathanos. He sided with Sylvanas when she committed atrocities, such as the burning of teldressil, all because he liked her. (at least i think that is why.) He also is the single biggest jerk in all of World of Warcraft, even though the players he gives quests to are supposed to be heroes of the horde.
I’ll say it like that. Nathanos was absolutely insufferable to me to the point I wanted to kill him myself.
BUT what was the point of developing him giving him so much exposure especially during BfA if he wasn’t meant to be replacement for Sylvanas? Why putting so much investement in him to begin with? Why not to give exposure to future leader of the forsaken?
Vol’Jin’s death taught them absolutely nothing.
