Thank you for seeing it too. I thought I might be one of the few who recognized that they had completely copied a Behemoth.
Game could use more Armoredon and Rockfang mounts imo.

Mount fits the dragon isles but it is SLIGHTLY saddening that it is not compatible with DR.
Meh, if we are going by that everything is something else’s copy… it’s pretty dumb to think a lookalike is a copy of something.
100000% agree. They have a badass ras dragonriding skin that drops from ras (last boss of vault), an elite pvp dragonriding skin, but…some generic weird frost dino for KSM? In the dragonriding expansion? Um…what?
They should make an equally elite and cool dragonriding skin for getting 2400 rating or something like that in m+. Blizz pls

At the time in the alpha when they added it, they didn’t know if dragon riding was going to be popular or not so they decided to play it safe with the first KSM mount.
It would be a cool mount for some secret finding journey. But KSM being a ground mount in a flying xpac is the exact definition of disconnected smh

Hopefully, they don’t just slap a new color on it and give us that for the rest of the expansion. I don’t see any reason why they didn’t make dragon riding skins for all content. Then, just do a different dragon each season.
S1) Pvp = highland drake, raid = proto drake, KSM = the wyvern thing
S2) Pvp = the weird bat thing, raid = highland, KSM = proto
I don’t know - something like that. By the end of the xpac, every dragon has a skin from each form of content.

It also due to Armoredons and Behemoths have similar qualities and body stance. They’re close enough to claim that one of Blizzard’s artists was inspired.
