What’s the solution? Stop allowing Pvp on a PvP server? Put limits on PvP that were NOT there during Vanilla? Yea that will go over great!

Ideally people on both sides would engage in “Fair Play” but that is just not going to happen in a universal sense, there will always be jerks and people have to accept that.

Getting ganked and camped is just part of the PvP server experience. It reflects the cruelty and inherent unfairness of war. At this point YOU should have known better, YOU made a poor decision.

ME! I am one of the biggest carebears going but I like looking over my shoulder, I knew what these server would be and that is WHY I rolled on a PvP server.

don’t roll on the roleplaying pvp server if youre not ready to get swarmed and obliterated.

When i’m playing classic on my roleplay server…I’m…not…flagged. Nobody’s going to attack me. If they flag I can continue to do whatever I was doing and ignore them.

You fundamentally misunderstand the problem.

it’s not a matter of one encounter being unfair. Or even a handful of encounters. It’s a matter of literally being unable to do any open world content because you instantly get mobbed and killed. Going out in a group will give you about 10 minutes of time before more horde flood the area.

It doesn’t matter where you go, you will be outnumbered and mobbed. It’s a break down in game function. People are effectively paying a sub and unable to play the game.

I agree with the premise… I ran into the problem on retail , on Argus on my Alliance toons, it’s incredibly frustrating BUT what’s the solution?

It’s a bad game system BUT it’s part of Classic. The game was created with the idea that people being THAT big of jerks would be minimal…they were wrong.

The difference is that vanilla player knowledge was dramatically different. Prebis wasn’t even a phrase, people didn’t know what the honor system was. When it came out most people were still gearing up in dungeons or not even 60.

Today a majority of the people I know are pretty well geared out with tier 1 loot and have nothing else to do but PvP.

Everyone is saying "My server is dead/unplayable" while PvE servers keep getting better!

The SS vs. TM fights have been amazing all day. People can still quest while the 60s duke it out, mostly. More Horde have been rolling PvE and having a great time choosing when they want to engage in PvP. I’m quite excited that more people are starting to see the light. PvP servers have their own arrogance to blame for their demise. This is what unbridled bloodlust leads to - faction imbalance, complaining, frustration, and more.

There are other servers that don’t have what you don’t like. Your sub is buying you access to them as well. It’s not Blizzard’s fault you refuse to use them.
